Love it. How does this type of intake perform while driving in the rain though? Since I daily my .:R l’m afraid it would suck up water and damage the engine during a downpour?
I live in Tampa, Florida and we see some pretty heavy summer downpours. I haven't had any issue since installation in April, and I've driven through rain on a number of occasions. The small end of the cone intake is solid... You can see it in the beginning of my actual install video (I put the link in this video's description). I believe that prevents water from just getting sucked straight through.

exactly my thought as well, don't know how youtube recommended this stuff but this looks just stupid. the design is asking for trouble.
30 mm lower i would think that would run my intercooler piping
