I moved to MK in 1986 and I am still here, there is no other place like it.

Me too. It was May 1982, the train was crowded because Queen were playing at The Bowl. I turned the wrong way and found myself in Loughton!

MK reminds me of those Soviet Union cities. Utilitarian Modern functional Looks clean and tidy.i think expanding it ever larger probably ruined the atmosphere of the town.ive never been there myself but thats the impression i have,

Is that the old information centre/bubble still (first appears at 10 seconds in, directly below the 'OO" in the Goodbye Baby Jane? title)? I can remember going to an inflatable information centre when all that seemed to exist was this inflated info centre and the facade of the shopping centre.

I love mk, the station area was perfect just the way it was in this video, the council have ruined it now and are doing their best to destroy the rest of mk.

@@georgedowns4034 they put the bus stops right infront of it and took away the train, also the trees have gone. and we have bike sheds suck in the middle. its just an eye sore now.

@@drtydawg73 there's the car park round the back though which is big enough and I kinda find the station blending into the building pretty unique and the station itself isn't really ugly. I guess I see what you mean about the bus area though...

@@georgedowns4034 it just feels like youre walking out into london or something when you come out the station now, where as it used to be like you were walking out into a nice open country type area with fresh air and freedom. i remember coming up from london when i was 18 thinking this was the most awesome place on the earth. its just the same as any other over crowded, noisy and busy town now. :-(
