My grandfather was much the same way. We didn't live on a farm, or actually anywhere near a farm, but rather had a large home in a suburb near Chicago. My grandfather [my nonno] was a retired Master Mechanic for Chrysler and carried much the same work ethic shown here: always working because there is always work to be done. I greatly appreciate you sharing this with us all. This video is a perfect reminder of the men [and women!] who were raised in another generation of work ethics. It's very good motivation for the home that I am building with my wife and children. And on that note, I am off to work in the garage. Cheers!

And opposite a scholar he uses his knowledge every day, without thought, planning his days by temperature, light, smell, color, sound etc etc...
How in the world would you give this man certification of knowledge!? We that belong to the myriads of people that has put our knowledge in our hands, and minds ofc, but not have the power to give this knowledge verbally to others...

I'm 63 I can work at a steady pace depends on what I'm doing. I've learned it's the best thing way. Young people work to fast they hurt thier self over the years .I for one have done so . But that's what has slowed us down to a moderate pace .age gives you experience makes you a smarter person. I work in factories most of my life. We got use to people pushing us hard hurry up get more production .they wear your body out in a shorter period of time. We didn't realize the effect . If you take care of your body your life Will last longer with less pain. This gentleman is a lot older than me . He is also wiser. I can see he does many different chores in single day. Spreading your energy on different projects each day with a steady pace you can get more done. And it keeps every thing running smoother. Older people can work circles around younger folk. I'm sure he has aches and pains you don't notice them till the end of the day. In the USA they've done studies over the years on the population . They know when you will be used up. But try to push us for every last bit of energy we have. With penalties in your retirement some can go a little further working depends on your occupation. My knees are shot From working years on a concrete floor they cut my benefits about 400 dollars a month because I had to retire at earlier age something like three years difference. I also went deaf. They know how much time we have left as well .very few live past 80 . 65 is the norm and 65 use to be full retirement age sence some or living to 80 they've raised the retirement age to 70. They hoping you never draw a retirement check. They spent money out of our retirement funds there saying it will run out by 2035 . Most likely I personally want last till 2035 . But thiers alot of be people who will . When this happens thiers not gonna be any money for the old people. Who spent thier life's working in factories . Land is so expensive here . There's not enough to go around . You want be able to support your self by growing your on food. It's gonna be a mess . What I can see in the future mandatory vaccines. Mandatory utilization is next at certain age . This is America . Homeless people is a problem now. It's against the law to sleep over night on the streets. Not every place is like that as of yet here . Young people here don't have any respect for the old. They don't realize they will be old one day these rules thier helping create will fall back on them. Senior citizens or worried in America. Thiers just no room for us. Tell your grandfather I have great respect for him.

Without your own land you will never have the same pride. Don't throw stones at "teenagers" because you fucked the world we just inhereted it. Learn all you can from him, if he was my grandpa I would shadow and watch his every move while asking him questions about some things as he sees them. Funny I never thought about carrying firewood that way but as a kid did the same thing with the wheelbarrow, I would take 3-4' long sticks and put then in the front and sides. Our firewood was 3x the size split and the most I fit in one load was 72 pieces. One time I broke a handle due to the weight of the load. I really enjoyed watching this with admiration and sweet memories.

Good thing he has the giant horse or he might not have got much done in one day without his “power equipment”! (Sarcasm)
Thanks for sharing your grandfather. What an inspiration!
