I was tempted to mod the PS just because of how woeful the systems games were - but left it vanilla in the end. I wouldn't dare touch these others though, hoping they are worth more one day!
@_Uh_Oh_ Ps mini's emulation is a little rough but would have a great universal controller for modding. I only wanted nes, snes and genesis so the snes classic was optimal for me but you can go as far as you want. There's no real fear of bricking your system in my experience with snes classic and hakchi2, I screwed up the operation my first time because I had dumb instructions on the reset button. It was fine. Raw unplugged it and tried again successfully. I've had it plugged in maybe seven times since then fixing folders, broken roms and stuff. I've done everything but intentionally treat it bad.
I did a one time mod to the internal memory of mine to include a few extra SNES games that I had growing up. I'm happy with that and have no intention of ever selling or giving away.
Recently flashed my snes classic, went for nes, snes and genesis libraries and got my personal top 40 of each. Prices on the classics and minis are around $200 now and this is still my most recommendable retro machine. Thinking of learning to ftp and changing the menu music to mario paint.
Dude, this is the original from Nintendo but modded to ass more systems and games. The build quality is on another level, and emulation idem. Those crappy AliExpress clones cannot even touch it.
Some games don't really work well due to the systems restrictions (like most N64 games of course), but it really is an emulation beast, the same can be said for the NES Mini too, as the hardware is pretty much the same as the SNES Mini, of course, there's a very high chance you have to use an adapter that allows you to use a USB stick while also having the adapter to enable the use of the micro USB power supply work to have more games, just you need to know that the system might go a bit slower in that scenario if you have a lot of games, but I think that is the least of your problems overall, just keep in mind that you probably want to have Wii Classic Controllers if you plan to play the very few N64 games that works fine or Ps1 games.
I had the same EU version of SNES mini, moded by myself just for add roms of my favourite games from 16bit era. It worked without any USB-flash drive and that spaghetti but it just had very tiny internal storage. And yes, it can play PS1 games, I only played MK4 on it because of small size of rom.
I think the Playstation Classic and the RPi 3 and Lenovo M93p tiny is what got me into Emulation they do some good performance if you wanna do a low budget Emulation Power house. My Emulation PC is a Deskmeet x600 with Amd ryzen 7 5800x with 64gb ddr4 Ram and a Rtx 4060 in it and does up to ps3 and snitch very well with Performance and does Upscaling very well
I've modded my SNES mini with everything 2D nintendo, however I organised it via System - Genre and then by alphabetics with the complete library of NES, Famicom Disk System, SNES, GB,GBC,GBA and Virtual boy. Thats really enough tbh. N64 I didn't bother with coz it's not worth it if it aint perfect. I have been selling my mods for quite some time because it's that good. :) I kept my build pure Nintendo as it's wrong playing Sega games on a SNES mini.
@VirajKathwadia Alphabetical folders are a pain to navigate. Make main folders for all of your systems then group roms in folders of twenty games. This will save you a lot of grief and thoughts of playing on a crappily flashed system. You can even put games in order by changing the sorting names of each game to a, b, c, etc.
@matthewheeke6240 It's a discontinued product from nintendo that someone has flashed roms to. It currently goes for $200 on ebay before they're gone forever and many of them are fakes.
I don't know how much this costs but you can get a Super Console Cube X3 for under $140 with 256GB card that has all the main consoles up to PSP, PS1 and Dreamcast. There's also game hacks and Open Boar games, support up to 4 player and can be used as a streaming device for RUclips, Max, Disney+, etc... But this is still a cool device, I'll always love SNES 😄👍
I have a modded us version of super nes that has been modded can I add more games and systems to it by thumb drive or do I need to do so by a computer has haki already on it thanks
If you really want to mod this you can have internal micro SD mod, 2x Brooks internal wireless bluetooth adapter kit and 2x 8bitdo wireless kits in those controllers. But its gona cost more than the system.
Classics and minis are sold on ebay for $200. It's an official but discontinued product and has been flashed with software called hakchi2. These systems make the best retro machines once modded, I only run nes, snes and genesis on my snes classic but the ps1 mini probably has more power to run n64 games.
So many emulation system exist... just stay SNES games with Mini Snes , please :) Mine is reloaded with my 50 favorite Snes Games (in my country language) No external USB key needed.. or whatsoever cable ... only the pure hardwar reflashed ! And don"t forget , you can only play with those SNES controlers.
HACKCHI EZ setup. I've modded like 20 of these. I hate that they didn't change the music though. FYI: If u get a Bluetooth controller u CAN use the Wiimote.
N64 emulation is not good for Snes mini, Nes classic mini Sega Mega Drive mini, Playstation classic, and Amiga mini. NVIDIA SHIELD PRO runs smooth but not perfect. Just good-looking gameplay and paring controller is horrible. For example, push the B button, and you are on the emulator menu pops up. You must waste your time. For quick save is the best Nintendo switch but expensive. Just buy original and put the red cheap Everdrive clone.
I soft mod my Playstation mini. Probably best thing I ever did. Lots of classic games to keep me happy for many hours
PS1 mini is awesome !

Can you play Ape escape ? World the dual shock¿
Got the full catalog from the family computer all the way up to the game boy color running on that bad boy no problem.
I did a one time mod to the internal memory of mine to include a few extra SNES games that I had growing up. I'm happy with that and have no intention of ever selling or giving away.
It's so easy to do, I recommend it to any owner and maybe to non-owners even considering current prices. It's was nes, snes and genesis for me.

The best way to have a modded SNES mini!
This console is way better than the original 🎮😊
This upgraded original SNES mini ... love the overal quality.
No ali-express clone can beat this.
Dude, this is the original from Nintendo but modded to ass more systems and games.

That's really nicely done.
I know there's Kinhank, but where to get like this one?
Thank you for the great video uploads. 🙂
Kinhank haves that Cube thing .. plays up to ps1.
I see you got the European version of the snes mini. I have the American version. It can be a little powerhouse if you know how to mod it.

Nes classic is good too but you need the snes controllers for everything but nes and gameboy.
@@deadvikingtrolls Yup, either SNES Mini or Wii Classic Controllers (obviously Wii Classic Controllers opens the door to Ps1 games).
@@PikangsFutaba No idea where that thing went, shame.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year 2025 Wicked! 🎆
Heey, Nope it's horrible days of Christmas here.
Part of my family is now in the hospital.
Making these vids between all of the crazyness.
@WickedGamerCollector OMG! I'm sorry to hear that pal. I wish them a speedy recovery.🙏

I have 3 of these things. I got one to keep stock. One for my GF and one to mod. I still haven't modded it yet 😂
I've been looking for one of these. I didn't see a link in the description. Where can you get it?
@matthewheeke6240 It's a discontinued product that's been flashed. Ebay is all that is left, learn to avoid fakes if you want a decent chance.
I’d like to know that aswell. It looks ace.
@matthewheeke6240 It's a discontinued product from nintendo that someone has flashed roms to. It currently goes for $200 on ebay before they're gone forever and many of them are fakes.
@stevied6965 They're discontinued. Link is ebay.
@@deadvikingtrolls shame that. It’s all the console needed for retro games.
Do they sell just the memory stick on its own , be great to plug into mine
It is possible to add differmt console controllers to the classic but they need to be wireless

Where can I buy one of these???
The cool thing would be to put a Raspberry Pi in this case!
Is it also possible to just buy the mod/usb dongle for an existing mini Snes?
17:26 Yes there are two Jackie Chan arcade games. Jackie Chan The Kung Fu Master and Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire. Both are like Mortal Kombat.
It's Super Duper SNES.
No cristmas give away? I would really love to win the retro shooting console
Maybe ... some day a give away.
Link to the product?
I have a modded SNES mini it's been in my box for 3 yrs 😮
Sad but in that case, you should sell it!
to play psx games you have to buy the wii classic controller
Wicked SNES time
I need to mod mines too

How come no link ???? Since it is so good, I am sure there are many who would like to buy. Has its issues however !!

Thanks much for your response . Appreciated plus very interesting! Now I know why this content creator does not always supply links .
@BURRITO44 I still recommend it but you have to be careful not to buy a fake so I'd youtube that before buying, especially now that they are $200.
Thank you much for your response and thoughts !!
May I purchase this from you good sir?

Why do they add N64, it's so nice without those systems
Diddy Kong Farting 9:33
This is logically the super famicom, not the super nintendo!
Haa!
Oh wow. I didn't expect this to run N64.
They underutilized the shit out of what they made.... Oh, just got to Cruising USA\World.
😆👍
Use hachi
Is this genuine or Chinese clone? I'd love to have one on these. I don't really care if it's a clone as long as it's functionally identical
This is the original one.
dlaczego odpalasz caly czas te same gry??
You are a bit late to this party. 😂

Es un Super Nintendo Mini original, hay cientos de videos en RUclips y información en wikipedia. Go search them.
Junk. I bought the 602game pack with all the original games in one console. Lasted all of two weeks before shitting the bed.
Maybe you didn't have the official one? Mine has just under a 100 games on it and it's been fine since I bought it
