    Most of them have not even done one diet in their lives. What is their secret?
    In this video, I share my routines and habits which have permitted me to have the lifestyle that I want and not worry about putting on some weight. As a matter of fact, French eating habits are indeed a lifestyle, and a healthy one.

    1. smaller portions
    2. eat slowly
    3. cook at home
    4. no snacking (if you must, switch junk food with fruits)
    5. no fast foods
    6. not too much alcohol
    7. Move your body
    8. After an excess...
    - Next day: omad, no alcohol/sugar/fattening foods, fast, veggie mono
    9. Drink water (only) (... with lemon optional)

      @@RC-qf3mp yes - if it was really about health then why don't the French shame people who smoke, the way they shame people - mostly women - for being average weight (which they consider fat)? I read that 30% of French people smoke. Also the French drink MUCH more than is healthy.

      When i was in france i noticed the French like to move around more than Americans, if something is within walking distance, they will walk instead of drive. Cars are only used for longer distance destinations. Also portion sizes in France are smaller than in Americq

    French women have inside calorie counter for sure. :) I say that in a good way. They invented intuitive eating before it was popular. They know if you eat a lot one day, you should eat less the next day so you can balance the calorie intake.

    The partial fast one is interesting. Here in the US, that kind of behavior is considered a warning sign of an eating disorder. Great tips though!

      This mind set is what keeps us fat. Letting yourself be hungry sometimes is not an eating disorder.

    Thank you, Chrystelle, great video! By the way, "advice" is an uncountable noun in English- it's always just "advice" (my advice, some advice, etc.), not "advices." You could say "tips" or "tricks" or "advice."

    French people overall are not fat, they are slim because they barely eat a real meal, but mostly smoke and drink, from dawn to dusk. All the macarons, chocolate and bakery are to sell to visitors tourist from other countries. Lastly they don't drive a car. Most people simply cannot afford a car They are slim but not really healthy. Young french generation frequent mc Donald. I see there is crowded all the time even after midnight. I don't live in Europe but travel for work every 2 months all around Europe mostly to Paris, Madrid, Florence, ibiza and noticed in Paris, french drink more alcohol than anywhere else.

    Chrystelle, your channel is most likely for women, while I am a man. However, I liked your weight loss tips, and I used them to lose 8 kilograms in just two months. Your advice is simple but valuable. Speaking about food, maybe it is also part of the famous Frecnh women charm. I've just recalled how one French girl was flirting with me in Australia, by hand feeding me with Chantilly eclair. Unforgettable.

      I try to do whatever I can whenever I can. I walk as much as I can and if I’m staying home then I do some squats or some kind of exercise while watching a video or cooking. I just keep in mind that I need to move my body and I find the opportunity whatever I do. Not all day long but a bit here and there. It makes a difference at the end. And if I know I’m not going to move a lot, I try to eat less. It’s a good compensation. 😊

      A C Yes it’s a good idea. The only thing is I don’t really have a routine to be honest. I simply try to use very natural products like Argan oil, aloe vera ... and that is the best thing I can recommend to help skin problems. I hope that helps. 😍

    i'm sorry Chrystelle, when you said no snacking, I was crushed! it was like a couteau in the coeur! In my next lifetime I want to be born in France and eat le gouter at 4 PM in the afternoon and eat Les Petits Ecoliers cookies with shortbread on one side and a delicious layer of chocolate on the other! However, you are right, we should not snack, and French women are always so slim and elegant and know how to take care of their hair, their skin, their teeth, their waistline, and look fabulous wearing a chic colorful scarf. Mireille Guiliano who wrote French Women Don't Get Fat says you can have a life full of pleasure and enjoyment and still look slim. But you didn't talk about Poireaux avec vinagrette even one time as a French diet secret!

      Yes I understand! It’s hard not to snack but once you get use to it, it gets easier. Le petit écolier is my fav cookie so I eat one or two in the morning this way I will burn the calories during the day. Really the best advice is eat healthy with some of your favorite stuff but in small quantity. That is what makes the difference. I hope that helps. 😊

      Lift weights, get stronger, cut out sugar and carbs. Problem solved. Give it 1-3 months.

      I don’t smoke, I eat well and I drink one coffee but not everyday. So that’s not my routine.
