Must be because the song is not that well known compared to some. I've started to recommend it to new viewers when they say they want to be able to watch all of them the whole time to see what each is doing.

I was revisiting some of their stuff, and came across this. I actually think this is their greatest cover, at least from a technical perspective. Just a Master Class of how to do a great ensemble performance, from Avi to Kirstin to Scott to Mitch to Kevin. Every one of them sang this PERFECTLY. Watch how they listen to each other. It's just completely perfect in every way. They are five, and yet at the same time, they are one. The swells, the swells, I can 't get over those swells. And unison vibrato-how, just how?
It takes a special kind of connection to do this. (And so much practice.) But all the practice in the world couldn’t create the connection they already had.

The beginning bit where all the words are just disjointed and mixed together (like at 0:05 of this video) is done like that on purpose, it's a technique called vocal sampling and has become really popular in EDM/alternative music. So it's not supposed to make sense as it's just samples taken from other parts of the song to create a cool sound effect, but it's still technically English because the rest of the song (where the samples were taken from) is in English. Her articulation isn't particularly bad, it's just the sampling that makes it sound like she's not saying real words because technically she isn't :)

This is miraculous arranging. Mitch's voice is great but Scott and Kirstin go back and forth between backing up Avi and backing up Mitch, and singing together. Then all sing in unison, then they alternate one-by-one. Only a group of people with a blend like this could pull it off. Literally only Pentatonix could sing this arrangement and have it sound good.

The other three (Mitch, Scott, and Kirstin) knew eachother in highschool and Mitch and Scott knew eachother in elementary school. They got famous from being on The Sing Off and winning in 2011, but the reason Avi and Kevin joined was because they werent allowed to be on the show without 4 or more members and the original 3 loved their talen. So the group wouldnt exist if any of them werent there.
