Hey Casey, videos are great. As far as wheel protection for polished aluminum, or really any wheels, I would definitely recommend a ceramic coating from Shine Supply, they actually make a ceramic coating for suspension and wheels, and it's actually called "Beadlock". It's a kit for around $100 (US) and it will do about 4 complete sets (5) of wheels.

I do believe you meant Galvanic Corrosion, with dissimilar metals in contact. It really is only an issue when an electrolyte is present. Ran into more times than I can count when I was a plumber. People use copper fittings directly onto a steel water inlet/outlet of a water heater all the time, instead of using a di-electeic union like they should.

I've always seen the advice of zeroing out your torque wrench also but there's no way it has anything to do with spring fatigue. Springs fatigue with cycling not compression. This is why you can leave 30 round AR mags loaded for years and have no issues. Perhaps it's just good as it reminds you to exercise your torque wrench everytime you use it.

In the States you should be able to take them into any Discount Tire and they'll balance them for you - as a company they made the decision to go ahead and balance them but they won't mount them from what I've heard. Issue is I think they're all privately owned so there's going to be some that still won't do it. They'll definitely do it if they aren't on the truck though, but that's a pain most of the time.

Tire and wheel weight is calculated under "un-sprung weight". If you plan on the Jeep doing any crawling at all, you want more un-sprung vs. sprung weight. Sprung weight is the weight that is riding on the suspension and un-sprung is everything that isn't on the suspension, so wheels and axles. The heavier the wheels and axles, the less likely you are to tip over. Fuel economy is an afterthought since you opted for a V8, so you'll need to get real with yourself at some point about fuel economy.

Long story short the insurance company will only look into beadlocks if it was cause or accident like tire fell off and struck Someone because they lost control. Have not personally heard of that yet most time it’s just people who smash it up on trail and say a deer hit them lmfao guess the deer have some sharp ass teeth that look like rocks

Come on Casey the gnerls as you called them prevent your tire from spinning on the rim at low pressure causing imbalance. I thought you would know that?

Don't buy bead locks if you plan to drive on public roads. They are not DOT approved in the states and I think Canada too.. Besides there are street legal alternatives from Icon and Method. If you have to have bead locks Hutchinson Rock Monster Bead locks are street legal. I'm running them on my JT now. Running bead locks got expensive for me so. I was told to trailer my jeep home(I didn't ). I tend to warn people of the legality if your going to daily your jeep.

Casey, did you go with balance beads or find a shop to balance them with weights?
