- The first part of an interview I did with Stuart last year in Matlock.
It was at the actual social club where the iconic 'You, ya c***' scene took place!
Many thanks to Stuart himself for travelling down for a few hours to meet fans and also visit some of the other filming locations.
I've edited this video to the best of my knowledge, I'm no expert :)
Hope you c***s enjoy it! Кино
What a pity they didn't film this away from the cacophony of background noise
The movie, the cast, the director. Genius in the true sense of the word. Thank you for this brilliant interview.
Thanks for the great feedback 👍🏻
One of the best ever! It was shot in just 3 weeks,no massive sound effects or special effects, just an amazing storyline with great down to earth actors! Amazing movie
Absolutely brilliant film watched it many times,Shane Meadows is an absolute genius and all the actors in it are pure class, love it thank you for this.
Here's the problem...my gears gone missing and you're talking about elephants..
It's a dark film but there is so much (dark) humour in it, like the elephant stuff.
Also when Sonny shoots Al by mistake and the other guy has his head out of the sunroof shouting 'Alan!'. Something comically tragic about that scene. They want to be gangsters but really they are just useless twats.
"I told him not to mention fokin elephants...."
Don’t mention the elephant herbie
Brilliant film. If I ever met Stuart, I would love it if he recited some of the lines from this amazing film, particularly, "I can taste it in me beer!.
A super duper dose........of information.
I live literally 5 minutes away from where it was all filmed. Great movie. Dark but also had so many little comedy moments, especially if you can understand British humour. Stuart looks great here too! Came across really well.
What’s the name of the social club ?
@@michaelwalsh9782 Hurst Farm 👍🏻
Best revenge film ever
Sick film ! Remember when my brother got this on DVD , borrowed it and was and still is a firm favourite with my friends and I
Brilliant! Dead Mans Shoes is in my top 3 movies of all time, and Stuart Wolfenden was great in it. Subbed to your channel mate, looking forward to upcoming stuff.
Thanks man! More interviews soon! 👊🏻
Yeah it's in my top three too, and considering it was low budget too makes it even more impressive, well done Shane Meadows!!
When they talk about a Tour de Force, this movie is it. One of my favourites, the acting is A++, cast, script, A++. Superb.
My favourite film EVER!

Amazing, brilliant, awesome film.
Always remember meeting stuart around 2005 he had just finished filming the movie and stuart was doing a bit of singing in pubs.. He came to a pub called the church inn in bury lancashire which is no longer there now but as stuart was setting up his radio mic someone across the road from the pub must of had a karaoke machine going and there mic was on the same frequency and all you could here through stuarts speakers was young girls singing on a karaoke machine .. was funny at the time haha
Favourite film from the moment I saw it (only to re-watch another 2 times right after). It’s just the best vengeance movie

No extras on blu ray ? There’s loads on my og dvd copy. My favourite deleted scene is when they’re trying out different things to bash the speed with. “It’s fucking Parmesan cheese isn’t it “ hahaha.
You're doing some good work here mate
