Unfortunately, the expedient way is to blame everything on him. Which will not change the root causes of Boeings’ problems. Instead placing blame on one person will do what it always does, give those hiding behind this CEO to go back to doing what they were doing before, with little to no substantive change. The corporate culture needs to change. To make Boeing great again, it will be necessary to replace the accounts running the company out to pasture and replace them and their mindset with real engineering managers who know how to identify and solve real engineering problems using their expertise in technology applications rather than numbers accounting prowess. It is rather simple. Build it properly and they (the customers) will come back. Continue to build it cheaply and they will continue to go elsewhere!
