I've been doing Instacart since March of 2020! Didn't really love it back in Chicagoland, but now that I live here in Florida.....I love it! Since it is an area with a high percentage of retirees and high value homes....the tips are great. Criteria? #1 A decent tip. If there is no tip, I do not accept it and the tip does show up on the request. #2 Delivery Within about a 6 mile radius from the store. #3 No more than 15 items if I'm shopping by myself. More than that and I usually bring my hubby along. We have a great system where I screenshot half the items and send them to him to find and we get it done twice as fast. I average $20-$25 an hour and I shop ONE particular Publix 95% of the time so I know it like the back of my hand now! (Weird saying, huh? Who knows the back of their hand really? LOL) I've been binge watching all your videos so I don't know if you see comments on videos from over a year ago now. lol
Hey mama, you probably won’t see this because this is an older video that I’m commenting on, but I’ve been binge watching your channel since I restarted DD and UBE- BUT I’ve been a holistic practitioner for 14 years and NO ONE is supposed to be wearing perfume/cologne. Those are chemical/artificial smells and irritating to many, but also there shouldn’t be any smells in a clinical or professional environment with the exception of maybe essential oils which are pure. Most people who seek out holistic therapy are highly sensitive and their system cannot handle chemical smells. You are right to decline service from that Chiro and I would also let front desk know that it makes you feel bad. This Chiro is obviously clueless and needs some guidance. This person hasn’t developed the sensitivity to properly assess what people need in my opinion. And it is a process for many. Love your channel! ❤ I wonder if you’ve ever thought of simply filing chapter 7? I mean, all your debt would go away- yes it ruins credit for 7 years but so what? You can always ALWAYS start over. And that time passes so fast. I just hate to see you struggle so hard because I was as a single mom with 4 children for many yearS AND I know what it’s like. I had to HUSTLE. and I did. Over and over. And it’s exhausting when you’re u give so much to others and don’t take care of yourself. But who’s encouraging you to even do that? NO ONE. there’s no one to remind your to take care of yourself. So please, GET A MASSAGE. (A real one) ❤ D
I have been a nurse for over 36 years ..one of the first things we were taught ..is NOT to wear perfume... not just because of this but people who are nauseous for whatever reason it makes them more nauseous and can obviously cause vomiting...and exacerbate many other conditions as well
Bottom line you truly are very good and efficient and what you’re doing. Most people don’t last long so stand tall and be very proud on how good you take care of everybody at home and at your work and especially your awesome DoorDash/Uber eats.🎉🎉
Another reason why I don’t even dash close to home in the dark with my eyesight anymore (used to be fine to) - too many corners and streets right next to the water. Id tell you why you aren’t wrong about staying away from/ that not being safe without a better guardrail, but another time. It’s not a happy story.
Instacart is so subjective,,and so many variables. The more comfortable you are with the store helps a lot. We have a discount store called Aldi's and folks totally abuse shoppers with it. 50-70 items,, always going 15 mil s away. I try to stay away from long mileage deliver. Takes me too far to come back. I prefer to be in/out.
Just watching this, as I'm a new subscriber. Sounds like they're short of Walmart delivery drivers in your area. Maybe that could be a second side-gig for days when DoorDash is slow? Their drivers are Spark drivers. Spark doesn't seem as oversaturated in my area as DoorDash is. Love watching your videos, btw! Thanks, RUclips, for bringing you into my recommendations!
You have the best singing outbursts and outbursts in general. I enjoy a good laugh here and then and your channel is brining the goods. Keep it up you filthy animal
Love watching your journey. I'm glad I am not the only one who gets the "something went wrong" messages and having to restart my phone.😀😀Also had to uninstall & reinstall twice to get it working.
I wonder 💭 how you would do cutting half the apartments? I know when I do a town over-a big college town it is a pain in the rear. In my town, we have some but it is a small college town which isn’t half as bad-Penn State. I would start zooming those maps. You do a lot of work for some only paying $4.00 & $4.50. I would just try it one day, but being in Florida, it maybe a lot harder. It would save a lot of time though.
For Instacart I don't do big orders because it's very time consuming for not that much more pay that I could have made doing less work on Doordash. I do 10 or less items for $12-15
Love your videos we all have to take the orders best for us so don’t listen to the whiners. Drivers need to just do them and let others do what they need to do. I need to work more hours in the day apparently I don’t know how you do it FT I am too used to my PT hours. Good luck on your journey.
I saw a few of your videos and they seemed in nicer areas. The more recent ones seem in an area with lower tips more often than not. If you are working 8+ hours in a shift I think you find much better results in a better zone. Accepting so many orders at $5 or below with close to $1/mile driven is very hard to make DD worth it.
I found you through Sara! This is the first video of yours I watched & so far I’m enjoying it! ❤ I like watching other dashers to see what they do in hopes I can start making more! 😅 Your orders have all been similar to the ones I’ve been receiving except the alcohol order! It’s also been crazy slow lately in my area (I live in Middletown, Ohio but dash in surrounding areas of Ohio as well!) have you noticed any issues? If so, do you know if that’s DD or maybe just post holiday wallet recovery? Haha
IAM NOT LOOKING AT DOORDASH I WILL TELL YOU THAT LOL..... my wife and I only do $2 per mile orders and nothing really under $8 dollars per trip. No tip no trip, Good tip, fast trip. Uber is so much better in my market.
On Long Island New York if I'm not getting at least $2 and item with low miles on instacart let them pick it up themselves .. and Uber eats minimum minimum a mile and that's if it's a slow day
You should say to the stinky Dr.-what perfume are you wearing? It smells so good!😁 that way you can tell us what NOT to wear. Still watching. She has to put a lot on for it to linger that long.
They shouldn’t be wearing a heavy perfume and especially when they have patients . I know that’s a hard call and perfume is an individual a preference. I’ve worked in places where you’re not allowed to have perfume at all so I don’t think she realizes it if you try to tell her, most likely offend her. it’s like being between rock and a hard place🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛

You are correct. They have safe for work/ medical environments that are barely noticeable and smell like soap.

Just a few things - My car didn't get scratched, and I didn't see the person that I didn't want to see in Winn Dixie. So, again, thank you, Jesus! 🤣
“The Smelly Doctor” lolol I hate strong perfume or cologne, too! So- did DD pay you for the Winn Dixie order?

I don't think we're as slow here as some of you guys in other places, but that may be because the snowbirds are here?
@@themeatymama what are snowbirds? Is that like DD lingo? 😅 pardon my lack of knowledge/stupidity 🤣
@@amberlymartin4713 They are the people that live in the North but come to Florida in the winter. :)
@@themeatymama oooh okay, Ty! Yeah that could be it. Either way, I hope it picks up soon! Haha Tysm for responding! 💖
