I don’t normally leave any comments, but decided to leave this one as it might actually help someone. I came across this video after watching dozens of others similar to this one. Nothing helped until I saw a comment under another video. And it did work.
The comment said that I needed to turn off my WiFi, turn off iMessage, switch to cellular data and turn off iMessage on. I didn’t expect it to work but still decided to check if those “waiting for activation” note disappears. It did! Hooray! 🎉😊

Did you had a same probleme ? On apple id in security your nukber is not agailwble for iMessage and facetime because i had that issue

you need to have money on your sim card i think you need 0.10cents for it to activate

Did everything just like in the video 2 times... still getting that unavailable for iMessage and FaceTime message. My phone number and facetime work fine and I get messages on my iphone no problem there. But this might be related or not to this problem, I am unable to log in to messages on my mac, or get phone calls. In fact I believe most of "apple ecosystem" does not work for me. I bought my macbook and iphone new from apple in USA about a year ago. I have no idea how to fix this problem.
I am logout of messages on my macbook, when I try to login with my apple ID, the application starts to load and never finishes loading. The application stops responding and my only option is to force quit it
