The Mojito looks pretty awesome from your videos! How are things like shortages, bed comfort? Is there wifi in the rooms, pool, beach? I'm having a tough time deciding which resort to choose lol
@colinwright1637 It's always a tough choice 😁! It's such a personal decision that I just try to show our enjoyment in the videos. We had a great time at the Mojito but there were some shortages and some issues with the room (no hot water or water pressure). I think right now, you will find shortages and other issues at all resorts in Cuba as their economy is suffering quite a bit at the moment. However, the beaches are beautiful, the people are friendly, and (us personally) feel safe there. There are 3 big pros to the Mojito. 1) The chefs are award winning, having come in 1st in a number of competitions in 2023, so the food, especially at the a la cartes is awesome. 2) Freddy's cigar bar is incredibly fun all in part to Freddy the bartender. We spent all our evenings there, skipping the shows. 3) The biggest pro is the friendliness of the staff. They are amazing and treat everyone like family, even if it's your first time. They make your vacation even more special. In the end it's all up to personal choice and what makes you satisfied with your vacation. Everyone has different expectations. I hope this helps a little and that you find a resort where you have an exciting, memorable vacation! Cheers.
Hi guys, when did you stay at Mojito? How is the food at the regular eatery? You were showing lots of restaurants in your video but not the regular all inclusive food. We were going to Mojito before it changed ownership and food was Ok. Then we came after it and it become really uncomfortable in this department.
@crocodile172 We were at the Mojito in the middle of November. Food is always very subjective, especially in Cuba. What I can say is that there was more food available this year than last year at both the buffet and pool snack bar. Pizzas at the snack bar were awesome!! I happen to like the food in Cuba so that’s all I can tell you. The gentlemen making omelets at the buffet at breakfast time did a great job and my whole family ate them every morning. I hope if you go that you won’t be disappointed.
@@markinthetrail Thank you for reply. I was at the same time (mid November) at the Cayo Guillermo. Glad to hear that it got better. I really liked the water at Mojito. Very beautiful colors when weather is calm. We usually just taking a bus to there and staying for the day.
