I have a 4070, works great at 1440p, ultra settings. I have had no problems. Put a small OC on it and am getting well above 60FPS in games like ARK SA, Starfield and Calisto Protocol. I'm sure there are faster GPUs, but for $500 I'm happy.
I've been using 4070 Ti for roughly 1,5 years and I have not had any regrets I chose this GPU instead of 7900 XT. DLSS, DLDSR and FG are great and useful features. I really like how DLSS not only increases performance, but also improves anti-aliasing quality. It is a real game changer feature IMO. Also I have never had any issues with 12GB buffer playing at 1440p resolution. 4070 Ti can easily max out any game and even accept optional high res texture packs from Nexusmods (for Cyberpunk, Starfield, etc.).
Nice to see this gpu doing good, i plan to skip 5xxx series since it has insane power draw. That tells me they didn't improve anything and just added extra cores. 5070 will have 12gb also, so this gpu will do fine for next 2 years. I have no problem with 30fps + frame gen, it's smooth and input lag is not a problem for me.

In Wukong, you must restart the game everytime you enable Ray tracing. The 4070 ti is not getting 50 fps natively at 1440p with RT enabled. 50-65 fps with dlss quality and FG combined.
@@victorito07 natively?..no. but dlss quality can get you 50-60 FPS consistently across all the different maps. Some maps will be more difficult than others. But you also don't need to max out every settings. Dlss is better than native taa, so using quality upscaling not a loss. But it's still not native 1440p.
I wanted to try amd side this upgrade after using intel for so long but in my country 7800x3d costs more than i7-14700k and motherboards for am5 for some reason. So i had to go with i7-14700kf, rtx 4070 ti combo with Msı Mag Corelıquıd 360R V2 for cooling so i can keep using my cpu. For gpu amd side costs more and rxt 4070 ti super cost $100 more which i dont have.

Depends what need your GPU for. 4070Ti Super probably isn't much better than 4070Ti. Situation is probably very similar to 4080 Super vs 4080 where 4080 Super was(at least in the beggining)1-2% better. At best. And 4070Ti Super is on average around 10-15fps ahead of 4070 Super... . Granted it's possible that I haven't seen sufficient amout of games.

I did the Same and i SAW Videos that clearly showed, that you Sometimes need more than 12 GB, but Always less than 16 GB in vurrent Games in 1440 p max settings. For example Avatar and Alan wake 2. And you have to rememver that IT already Starts with Games exceeding 12gb vram. If you use that Kind of Money you want to use IT for some years rigjt? Imo ans looking at my sources 16 GB should be Minimum for this price
Im a AMD owner but Nvidia with less memory performing better than amd, its like wath iphone can do with less memory vs Android phone. Amd must work at memory management
Turn the resolution scale down a bit. Lower a couple of settings. The difference between Medium and Ultra is not tremendous in new games. Things like sky quality and shadows are very unneeded.
I seriously don't know whether to go with 7900xt or 4070ti super..... 20gb vram is nice but dlss is also good.... And i dont know if ray tracing is even worth it I cant decide at all
@@batsh47 I will say, FSR has come a long way in. Is it better then DLSS? no, but it is a lot closer then it was. If playing at 4k, FSR works just as good as DLSS in most cases.
my 4070 super can run 4k at least 60fps on AAA games. 4070 Ti is a little more powerful. Sure it can run 1440p and 4k better. CS2 4k at least 170-200fps..
Dude what's the bitrate of your video(gameplay)? 3000? 1500? I've seen 480p videos with better image quality. If it was live streaming , I would sort of understand, but this is awful. And I am watching at 4K. Not the problem when you are standing still doing nothing in Alan Wake 2. WHY is it a problem for benchmarkers to show more demanding situations? Like combat or something. Anything really would be much better than just standing still bassically most of the Alan Wake 2's part. At least awful recording quality isn't as noticable. So there is that.
I dont agree. Especially in AW2 you can see a huge difference in image quality when activating path tracing with ray reconstruction. Maybe not in each and every scene but in the majority, for example in bright falls area. And thats pretty much the top reason to buy a 4070 Ti rather than a similarly priced RX 7900XT. NVidia cards can actually handle heavy raytracing which AMD cards are still just not capable of. Not even an XTX can handle AW2 with pathtracing without turning on FSR Performance. And then it looks leally bad. I am reporting out of my own experience since i swapped an RX 6950XT for the 4070Ti although the AMD Card has significantly better rasterizing performance. If you want new AAA games look as good as it can get, AMD still sucks. Also many new UE5 games have raytracing implemented and youre missing out on image quality if you turn it down. I hate NVidia for their low VRAM policy and I like the AMD drivers a lot more. But for me personally AMD will only be an option again when they close the gap in RT Performance.
Yes it can do 1440. Its performance is superior to my 6900xt it’s what? 20% faster? Here’s its downfall. If I were to run horizon forbidden west oh yeah it’ll do 1440. Until forbidden west sucks close to 12 gigs of vram. I’ve seen it suck as much as 12.5 gigs of vram. I don’t get it. Nvidia made a superior card to AMDs flagship but didn’t give it the VRAM it needs. My guess is they are going to pull the same BS again in the 50 series. VRAM in the coming years is going to become a bigger demand this 4070ti may end up having a shorter life span then AMDs previous gen flagship. I could be wrong mind you! Don’t forget. AMDs fsr 3.1 and frame gen isn’t a joke anymore by any means.
Either one is actually an OK 4K card, so 1440p no problem, I am eating 1440p up with RX6800 and 4070 Super and not going to 4K. As usual tweaking settings per game to liking, pretty much standard now regardless of card, and understanding which settings bring back frames (try ambient occlusion). 👍

The 4090 is overpriced and has no competition. A lot of people just want to get the best of the best, and do not care about the price. If you see any benchmarks with all of these GPUs in, and then go to the part where they show price to performance, AMD absolutely destroys NVIDIA. The NVIDIAs 40 series has been terrible in price to performance region. The reason NVIDIA outsells AMD, is because of how most people thinks that NVIDEA is always best. Back in the day, with the 10 series, they were right, but now that AMD has gotten a lot better drivers, hardware, and features. Today, buying NVIDIA over AMD mostly comes down to if you care about the features. DLSS is the best upscaler, but AMD have their own upscaler, and it is not that much worse then DLSS as most people think. And about raytracing, NVIDIA wins. AMD cards are simply really bad at raytracing. But are you willing to pay a "premium" for those features, to lose in performance compared to the cheaper AMD cards in that price bracket? I personally have a NVIDIA card (bought a 3060 back then, because I did not know all the things I do now.) but calling someone a "AMD fanboy" just because they are more educated in a topic then you, is honestly pathetic.

I have brought a second hand 3060 ti for 180€ 6 months ago. I reach over 100fps on ultra settings 1080p. When i go 1440p i mostly get 70/80fps

If you're going to spend that kind of money get the 4070 Ti Super for the extra Vram or wait until early next year for the 5000 series.
