Most of the time when we go to the parks, we go on Labor Day weekend and typically see fairly low wait times. Great time of year to go! We are unexpectedly going to Universal in a few weeks and, thanks to your all's fantastic videos on the passes, we are going to become annual passholders for the first time! I'm so excited. Thank you all for your videos! They have really made smile during this difficult time and gotten me excited for future trips.

Went this Saturday and man was Velocicoaster INCREDIBLE! I was hoping for smaller crowds but it got pretty dang busy! Probably cause it was a weekend, hope to be able to go on a weekday next time for smaller wait times!
Velocicoaster is truly one of the best coasters we have ever been on! Weekdays are great for smaller crowds! Hope you had a great time!

I’m glad I found this video, I’ll be there Tuesday and Wednesday right after Labor Day this year. The crowds don’t seem bad at all. Looks like we might be able to do a lot in those two days.

I'm currently staying at Sapphire. Went to HhN Sunday and followed your agenda. Worked perfectly. Went with an express pass , glad I had it. Wasn't horrible wait times but longer than i would have wanted to wait. You've helped so much with this trip.

I literally just want to go in Toothsome Chocolate and try all the different macaron flavors. I wouldn't mind dining there for lunch or dinner but macarons are my fav and I feel like I'm going to be macaron star struck or something of that nature lol.
You would think, as popular as it is, the resorts would have butterbeer lol. I guess since its only exclusive to the Harry Potter area it wouldn't be as special everywhere else. Ha...I guess in that case they should maybe consider building a Harry Potter themed hotel!!!!

We are a sucker for a macaron! We get them almost everything we are down there! We have a place in town that does a butterbeer macaron and it is MAGICAL! It has something to do with the rights and JK Rowling is very strict on where she allows her property to be represented! Thank you so much! ❤️
We absolutely loved The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. One of the best restaurant's experience ever!
We have always had a pretty good experience there! We have eaten there many many times and really only had a couple of bad meals EVER! Best desserts you'll find in CityWalk as well!
Hi, love yall's videos! We just went to Islands and Universal back in August and it was amazing. I'm from Miami but moved to Texas and my bf is from here so he had never been to the parks before (he's a huge Harry Potter fan!) We went during the first week of school for Florida (from the 25-27) and it was the best decision! The parks were SO empty and almost every ride was basically a walk on, we rode every major ride in both parks on the first day & the other 2 days were repeating our favorites and doing a few we missed. If anyone can go during the week, I definitely recommend the first week of school! I've been going to the parks since I was about 7 and I have never seen it that empty!

We was there in mid Aug and I was very skeptical about the Hagrids virtual crew. I was so surprised how well it worked. We got in line at Velocicoaster and we grab virtual ride times and it gave us enough time to go on other rides before Hagrids. I hope they actually keep it.
We are glad to hear you had a good experience. We think that is kind of the thing, if you are able to get a time slot, then it is a fantastic tool and allows for you to make more of your time. The frustration comes from the fact that so many people seem to not be able to get the virtual queue!
@@ThePughTwo I would suggest that as soon as people get in the parks that they log onto Universals wifi network. They maybe able to get in faster.

Never waited more than 30 minutes for Hagrid’s in the new virtual cue on days when the crowds were average. Thanks for taking us into Toothsome. Have you all ever had those chocolate shot chocolate cups? The cups are made of chocolate and edible too?? They’re my fave.
Love short waits for Hagrids 😍! Its so good isnt it? We haven't but you have us very intrigued!
Stop giving away the lower crowd secret! Haha, we always go around this time because its slower and our Anniversary. Loved it this year, already planning next year.
Have you ever done club level rooms at the hotels? Do you think it may be worth it? It was about $100 difference from the regular rooms at Portofino. Thinking we may bring our little one who will be 2 next year & probably won't eat enough to justify buying full meals for. I thought maybe club level may be an option for food since we want to do a few hotel days.
Haha sorry! We will try to keep it hush hush! We haven't because we never spend any time at the hotels, however, we have friends that SWEAR by them! They will not stay anywhere else and they say it saves them money!
We are going in November and we cannot wait to take our son to the Raptor Experience!!!!! He's turning 9 and loves Dinosaurs so he's going to freak out ( in a good way!) I've been watching your videos for weeks planning our trip and we're finally booking it next week! Thank you, Pugh Two!

Had a great time on Labor Day weekend, but have to mention the virtual line for Hagrids. On Friday we were able to ride 3 times in an hour, but on Saturday with the vitual line we kept getting the message that there were no reservations available. So no go on Saturday. Sad times!
Its so awesome that you got to ride it 3 times on Friday! We also didn't have any luck with the virtual queue on Saturday. Really wish they would fix the issues!
If there are virtual lines, what do you recommend we do when waiting? should we remain close to the ride or can we go shopping, grab a quick lunch or walk around? Always appreciate your advice! Thanks guys
We would suggest doing whatever you'd like as long as you can get back before your time slot ends! If you want to go ride another ride, do it! We have gotten a virtual line and then ridden 3-4 other rides before heading back to Hagrids! Thanks for the question!

I love experiencing the parks with you! Did you notice, by chance, where they moved the Jurassic park smoking area? There used to be four smoking areas in IO; if they remove the one in JP, they're down to three.
Awh! Thank you! We didn't notice sorry, however what we did notice is that your Watering Hole is a much busier location now haha. We used to never see anyone there.. and now it is packed always!

It was the centerfold in Ohio Gardener Magazine and our local papers. They acknowledged Universal in the media. Do you think I should show Universal and ask for a comp for their free advertising?!!!

Great video! Have you ever eaten a sit down meal at Toothsome? Also, what is the going rate for renting a nephew to enable the vicarious Flyer experience? Is it extra if he uses phrases like " Hurry, mom. Hurry, Dad!" and "You are the best parents in the whole world!" for the total immersive experience?
We have eaten at Toothsomes many many times! Its actually where we had our wedding rehearsal dinner! Lol we need to check with my brother on that! We will just fill him up with butterbeer and send him back to them after the rides! 🤣
Whohoo!! Going to the parks and Orlando first time on Sunday (HHN) Monday and Tuesday universal and island ! I am confident the wait times will be ok! It says 40-50% rain scatters thunderstorms, do u think they will close the rides :(

We hope you have a great time! That is really exciting! If it storms, they will close the outdoor rides. However, don't get to hung up on the weather because it changes very quickly and they are almost always predicting rain!
Will Express pass be necessary on weekend like this? We will be there 2023. The exact Labor Day weekend and the second day of Horror night. Wonder if I should stay one night in expensive hotel to get express pass

Nope! They stay open later to accommodate studios closing early
Was the solo rider line open during Labor Day weekend?
For some of the rides, yes!
How much time does it take to go from loews to island of adventure walking?
It's about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace!
We are going during the week before Labor Day next Monday-Wednesday or maybe Tuesday-Thursday. Do you think those will be great days?
They should be! There’s never a bad time to visit a theme park, though. It’s always full of fun!!

No it does not include tax!
so im taking my wife to universal November 8th and 9th. what should we expect for weather and wait times?
Weather is a tough call! It could be 95 or it could be 70. November can really be all over the place! As for wait times, thats a little more predictable and we would assume pretty low from now until Thanksgiving!

Ahh!! I tried to find you guys.. I was there all day Saturday 9/4 at studios, all day Sunday at IOA and at studios again on labor day! I saw Rick and Nikki filming by krustyland but didn't want to interrupt them lol. I thought I saw Tyler over by Velocicoaster filming with his hat on lol but I wasn't too sure. My boyfriend said "Hey what about that guy? do you know him?" but that guy was walking the opposite way and we were trying to get in line for the ride lol. So that could've been a messed opportunity but I didn't see Anna anywhere around so maybe not.
Dang! We wish you would have found us! We were around all weekend! Rick and Nikki are so sweet, they wouldnt have cared! You might have haha. We think its funny how many people approach us and say that they knew it was him because of his Aussie hat! Maybe we can link up next time!

would you suggest someone who is recovering from ankle surgery (four months post-op, I'm walking, but would b taking sitting breaks) to go to HHN?
don't mind not going into every house, I just haven't been to Universal in years, much less HHN, & feel I would enjoy just being in the environment. but if it's no fun unless you're moving through the park all the time, I'll just wait out for next year since I'm getting an annual pass anyway.
We don't know about the ankle or the extent of the surgery, but what we can say is neither of us have ever had any type of foot or ankle issues and it is extremely hard on us! We both run as well and we were beyond sore!
I wonder if you could get a wheelchair and do the disability pass (I'm not sure what it's actually called).
@@tabsamnic at the point in recovery where wearing my boot would be going backwards, so because of that would feel guilty taking up both a wheelchair & disability pass.
@@ThePughTwo uff.. I'm getting an annual pass just for the freedom of leaving & coming back the next day if I start feeling sore. if I do this, thinking going in late is the way to get around standing for long periods of time.
I have a little under two months to get it together tho, haha 🤞.

They are not required for guest. Universal has mask as recommended!
Would it be rude to stop you guys in the middle of filming to say Hi? It seems like you would never get anything done.
We wouldn't think it was rude! What we would suggest is just hanging out until we finish that take! We normally don't record really long takes because well.. to be honest I (tyler) am just not great at it! I lose my train of thought sometimes! Best thing to do would be to just wait til we were finished with that take, but it absolutely wouldn't bother us if you interrupted a shot!
