This is the history of the song. In Moscow, after a concert 6 years ago before release of the new album Unleashed, a fan girl gave a mail to John, where she described her life. That her parents don't get along, she's bullied at school and at home. And she had suicidal thoughts. But the Skillet's songs revived the desire to live on.And in honor of this, they recorded this song in Moscow. Because they loves her.

This sounds like the first time I heard them live at Bay Fest back in the day. The story behind how the band formed is a storybook story. I love the fact they seem to have come back to root. All be it 2016 when this song released, it still brings THAT feeling of the first time experience of Skillet. That ERA of music was amazing.
I absolutely love the symphonic rock vibe of this one. It got me hooked into the rest of the song instantly.
Dominion has Seth and Korey going nuts with those guitars, as well as what was probably Skillet's best solo ever.
I’m so glad you guys got to see Skillet live! I really hope you guys see them again when they are the headliner, the closing act. Very fair score!!

First of all Your content is amazing and secondly you kinda should listen to dominion from skillet it's the title track to their album and it is epic. You'll love it

I remember When this song first dropped in 2016, panheads everywhere were losing their minds! To this day this is one of my favorite skillet songs!
Yes! I knew you’d love this song! So many great things going on. The energy, the heaviness/crunchiness, the vocal delivery. Perfect guitar solo for this song too. In my top ten all time from them.
Based on your initial reaction I thought this would be in the 9s but you give a perfect explanation of why not. At their best when they do songs like this but nothing they haven’t done before so high 8s is perfect
Another great video and song! This is another personal favorite. It's like a cross between, "Hero" and "Awake and Alive," and it's so good.
I have a feeling you're going to like dominion. It's heavy and it's crunchy and it's thick. It has some techy stuff in it. But i think you'll love that song. This is the album that had "feel invincible" on it. This album was a heavy straight forward punch you in the mouth rock. Oh, and dominion has a NICE solo by Seth.
Also Beyond Incredible and Ignite I think he's gonna love.

When I saw the thumbnail with your face in your hands I was confused. Sat here thinking, "there's no way he didn't like this". So glad I misread the expression. Always nice to see that smile when Jen starts singing lol. This is definitely my favorite of their styles, still absolutely love their others, but I hope they swing back to this more often. I agree about relistening, I always repeat this when it comes on in the car. Legendary is on Victorious, I think most of the ones you love do come from Victorious and Unleashed.
Yes, Feel Invincible (and Back From the Dead and The Resistance) is on Unleashed as well. The song as a whole is really good and is in my liked playlist because it's really good. Shout out to the string players Jonathan Chu and Tate Olsen (violin & cello respectively) as they did a really good job on this track.
Missing Jonathan Chu. Hate that he left the band but understand the reasoning. I don’t tour with a band, but my work keeps me from my family too much also.

I didn't know this song was coming the first time I heard it (came up in a playlist) and OMG it was EPIC! I replayed it like 3 times after that. I also guess you liked it so much that you notice Jen's voice seeming a bit too auto-tuned a couple of places - in this case I think the song might be bit too high for her, though. Anyway, people keep talking about Dominion, and I agree - it'll be your favorite Skillet song from the new Album which is also called Dominion. The album is really good, but there's one track on that album that is WHACK - White Horse. It's pretty much everything you have ever disliked about various Skillet songs put together and turned up to 11. One guy doing a full album reaction was literally laughing and crying at the same time when he got to that song (it's the last track on the album) and said he had no idea how to rate the album now because he was just so thrown off!. That said, I like it, but it took a while for it grow on me.

I found this song to be a lot like "Awake And Alive" but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Skillet 🍳 is at its best when the emphasis is on crunchy guitars and less keyboards. . When emphasis is put on the keys and less guitars, it leans into a poppy sound.

i thought everysong on the new album was good except one. "White horse" i hated that track, i honestly wanna hear ur opinion on that track specifically, cause i couldnt see why or what they were going for on that track as a album closer

@@Dylan-lh9ff it was very odd, didn’t like it that much, I appreciate the boldness they took, but nothing else more to it.
I wanted something heavy and fun but we got what we got instead. I did like more songs from dominion than victorious tho.
When I first heard white horse I was like What the heck is happening? What am I listening to?!?. But after giving it more listens it really grew on me because of two reasons. Number one it’s absolutely chaotic, the song is based on the book of revelations which itself is chaotic, number two it’s a odd song with odd vocal effects, which is kinda what old school skillet (1996-2001) was. Songs like “rippin me off” and “gasoline” had those odd vocal lines and effects. I’ve always said Skillet has been bringing back the old school sound since awake. But with white horse they did that and created something new!
I think skillet was going with something apocalyptic sounding since it's about the book of revelation. I didn't like it at first either (even gave it a thumbs DOWN on my Pandora) but like someone else said after a few more listens it grew on me as well. The chorus is definitely the hook of the song.
