Nice Video: I use to live in Selma ( I'm near Medford now ) and rappelled down the steeper parts around the corner from Your spot here to get to the isolated Steelhead runs ...we are coming back to do it again this year..... Keep up the good gold prospecting....cheers
Ive walked around the hills of Southern Oregon since late 70's. I believe in the "boogie man" now LOL. I had a creeped out incidence above Ashland water shed. I have had several others as well. I couldn't explain this one at the time but later found out that 20+ Chinese were slaughtered at camp in the exact area.
@@CatDaddySteve Well mostly west and a little north of that Windburn ridge. But on the creek below the South West facing slope below the ridge. We were looking for garnets in the creek on the west fork. A few smaller tributaries merge down from there that way before going into the watershed proper. Definitely some interdimensional hole with great sadness/horror lingering there.
You keep working those arms on that dredge and those legs climbing mountains and you’ll be in shape before you know it. Then you just have to quit smokin’!
If you guys are up for it, I'd love to get all of us So.OR guys together for a good prospecting day...let me know and we can start planning, I'm ready whenever!

I thought you were on Eight Dollar Mt. road there for a sec...there's some GREAT spots down there, right before Josephine Creek.

Stellar. Eight dollar mountain?
Im real surprised that they reopened the Illinois back up for mining. The forest service closed most of the claims on it back in the 80s.
Lol funny as hell I'm watching this and that was definitely my dumb ass Friend Clinton that we were looking for. I live in the valley here in cj.
We're You down in the river, or up in the road ?
