This has to be one of my favorite videos of all time. This is my 3rd or 4th time watching it over the years. It sure makes you want to find that one mule that is irreplaceable in your life.
I always wondered if a person ever used a mule in a rodeo against horses or if a person could steer wrestle off of a mule ??? I loved your story and I know you miss your mules they were beautiful mules God bless you ......
My friend, just stumbled across this video ...And as I opened a Christmas present from my daughter this year that was a penciled drawing of one of my best and finest memories of an ole long ear from days past and the Colorado hunting trips together ...When watching this great video ... it brought all those emotions back again ... thanks for sharing and may God bless ...

Depends on the mule; most mules are smooth to ride but going away from the barn they don't seem to want to walk out as fast as a horse, you feel like you are constantly prompting them to walk faster just to keep up with the horses.
