Are your recipes your original recipes? Handed down in your family? Or do you get them from books, etc.? I'm just wondering because they all are so darn good! Thanks for another good one, Great Lakes! God bless.
Ha, thanks! My canning recipes are all based on "approved" ingredients/methods. My regular/non-canning dishes are products of a lot of years of experimenting with recipes from all over. Many did originally come from my parents, who largely learned to cook from their parents, and so forth.
It's ideal to get the vegetables colder than fridge temp (but not frozen). Fridge would probably be ok if left in there for a few hours. I find ice to be faster and colder.
Thanks for the content. I use your salsa recipe all the time.
A proper mixing bowl Yay! It’s always tiny bowls. This is a wonderful recipe. I upped the heat but it’s wonderful ❤
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing this video!
Thanks!

Listing specific ingredient portions would be very helpful, Thank you!
There is a link to the full recipe in the video description, including quantities of everything.
What's the purpose of the ice?
Couldn't you just put it in the fridge?
