The lock stick on mine was atrocious!! It was actually painful to close in the beginning. After two weeks of working it, the lock stick was suddenly gone! Now this knife is like butter, with a calming, hydraulic style closing. Even though I had to tinker with the dual pivots to re-center the blade....it is now my current fav, and gets the most pocket time! Excellent edc for sure!
Nice review! Only thing that was missing (unless I didn't hear it) is what the detent ball and hardware are made of. I think it's an important detail if you're going to be using it in salty conditions--which many people may due to the LC200N steel. Other than that, loved the review. Thanks!
That edge is way too small for my taste, it would need to be re-profiled. As well, the knife is really chunky though, not up my alley really. My dream brand would be better quality versions of kershaw knives, such as the speed safe line. The spring in that thing is a big problem. Thanks for the video!

It really is amazing. If they'd use a steel lockbar insert, the knife would be damn near perfect.

I completely forgot! This version has the ceramic detent ball and I believe the hardware is LC200N as well.
@@JakesTake Good to know! So basically, it's 100% rust proof. Thanks!
It's no where close to that size in thickness lol OMG u could see the huge difference even on camera
Looks like it’s crossed with a Kershaw. 🤷♂️
How so?
I guess it reminded me of the natrix. I kinda wish ya would of compared it with that
Don't have one yet unfortunately.
I compared them a little and it seems to me if spyderco mated with natrix you get that one lol

This knife is actually super thin behind the edge. Cuts like a champ. Not chunky either. One of my slimmer knives.
You mean ZT?
Mason Ball zt? Sorry, I don't know all the technical terms and steel names of sorts, so I don't know what zt is.
Jake’s Take huh, I guess it just appears that way for me, sorry! I still hold true on my opinion of the edge though.
ZT is Zero Tolerance, kershaw’s higher end line.
