That's the issue everyone who loves cars is concerned about these digital screen getting stuck and hence disabling driver from extracting the most out of his car. Someday one glitchy software update will leave you stranded on a side of a road ( especially if you are in an EV)
Mercedes needs to understand that too much of tech isn’t good. Removing almost 99 percent of the physical buttons and adding bulky and laggy screens isn’t cool at all… trust me this will severely affect the reliability of the newer models and the service bill is gonna booooooom ………………………Proud to be the owner of Mercedes e class 2021 at least when the interior was legit) 😂… definitely going for a 7 series next….
its sad to know that when this car will come to india it will have the base line headlights and the trim but will cost 1cr otr which makes u cry looking at the prices in the west.
In India, we donot get the base line trim. It's the engine options which are limited but it comes with most of the kit except 2-3 things.

Nowadays cars have more technology than cars have "CARS". (If you know what I mean 😂)
This simple things like AC and driving mode shouldn't be in the screen, we can do premium designs to make buttons look good.

WE DON’T want TOUCH BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We wanted Screen and Touch alongside Physical buttons ONLY FOR ANDROID AUTO/APPLE CARPLAY. I am telling you that this is a way of cost cutting and to hide poor plastics and poor Quality control of physical buttons and knobs. And no 360 camera ? God the level of laziness that can be observed here!!! Also the UI looks like a cheap android phone

honestly, all the premium sedans from the Germans are pretty bad. A6 is too expensive to be fwd, and 5 series and e class have been ruined. Better buy their SUVs, which are 15-25 lacs more expensive

who else is more annoyed by that warning triangle rather than screen... I really missed the physical buttons, these funky looking tech is so impractical to use I was so surprised the car that cost too much can have the stuck screen. it is just so impractical in case of emergency situations
