If you are noticing that there are spots in the video where the video footage doesn't sync with my voice I am aware of it. I didn't realize the shutter speed on the camera was off. I debated refilming but since you have been so patient I thought best to keep it real and post. The issue will be corrected from now on. Thank you for understanding!
We're almost at the end of 2020 and I am thinking about what to pan for next year and I would like your thoughts to be a part of it! I'm bouncing around ideas and will make a decision soon. Until then let's have a strong finish for the days we choose to wear makeup and have fun making some cool eye looks to offset the face masks! See you soon!
The GRWM for this fall makeup look
• How I'm Panning My Pal...
We would love a collection/vanity tour!!! ❤️😊
Would love a collection video!! I love inventories.. I have depotted my Nars face palette, and have been working diligently on it the whole year, but as I wear makeup everyday, but very light, progress is very slow.. I have finished three Concealers and two foundations so far.
I have transitioned to my grey and luckily my hair is a nice salt and pepper and allows me to wear warms, cools, and neutrals. As far as my panning...I have put that on hold for a while once the pandemic hit. I still wear makeup, but I am just on a journey to enjoy what I have.
I’ve been pairing a selection of singles with a monthly palette. It’s been nice rotating through my collection because, many days, putting on my makeup is the highlight.
Maybe a pan in every palette? Or some sort of graveyard project pan? Or even a monthly palette... Looking forward to your new videos!
I've hit pan on every eyeshadow in my collection this year, and now that that's done, what I think I'll do next year is use my favorite shades in each palette Most of my palettes are getting older and not performing like it used to and I'll never get to finish all my palettes, so I thought it would be nice to try to pan my favorite shade in each palette before they go bad. To me it's like a "Farewell Tour" of my favorites shades, before they are too old to come out and perform! I'll pick 1 crease color from a palette, 1 transition from another, 1 light lid from another, and so on, but only my favorites. If I don't have a favorite, let's say, liner shade, I'll work with the shades in the palettes I'll be working at the moment.
That's incredible!!!!!!!!!!! Pan in every eyeshadow is mindblowing! I've been thinking along the same lines for quite some time. I love your Farewell Tour idea. You will have so much fun creating and genuinely love every eyeshadow. Part of me is thinking of doing something similar and maybe even incorporate based on whatever is chosen for color of the year in 2021. I have a title/theme but not sure if I will stick with it or stay panning more of a single palette. I feel like since this year has been crazy so far a lot could change in the next couple of months what will trend or how I will feel toward the makeup I want to pan. Have fun playing with your eyeshadow!
@@beudmama Your idea for next year's project sounds like fun, and you are right, a lot could change in the next few months, if 2020 thought us something is to always expect the unexpected!! I think we'll have to adapt our panning style to whatever comes our way!! I'm actually proud to have pan in every eyeshadow, specially because I truly believe that the only reason why I was able to do that, is because I've been doing good at my eyeshadows low-buy in the past 2 years, not getting new palettes helped me to concentrate on the ones I already have! It's that simple, but it was not easy for the eyeshadow lover in me!!! That's why I'll try to go for my favorites in each palette next year, because they're getting old and they need some love!! Amber, you're such an inspiration for us panners and I can't wait to see what you'll pick for next year's project, I'm sure it will be a lot of fun to watch!!
Oh Amber, I've missed you! What a time we've had this year! It's been a challenge for RUclips contributors everywhere. Just how much make up they have actually used and how often they have been able to go out has been spotty at best. Themes have suddenly changed, projects have changed and there has been just a lot of dialogue and GRWMs. I'd love to see you do a video on your collections Talk about what you have gotten rid of. If we see what you have, maybe we can give some suggestions about the future projects. As your hair changes, you will have to adapt your color choices. Your rusts and warm browns may have to change. I think you ought to do more than one video a month. Try doing two or more. Maybe you can check on trend mood and talk about the new things that draw you in. Would you buy them? Why not? Reaffirm your reasons for panning. Some new folks may want to know. Maybe you can show some of the new stuff out there and how you can use what you already have to get the same effect or look using what you have.. Maybe do a skin care video. Everyone wants to know what everyone uses for skin care. That is bigger than palettes now since the pandemic. I like your "what's in my bag?" videos.
I’ve missed your videos so much!!
Loved your update! I think I'm going to make a goal of how many shadows I want to hit pan on next year and how many I want to finish so I have the freedom to jump around, but still making a dent in what I have!
I would love to see your makeup collection Especially eyeshadow pallets and blushes 🙂
So nice to see your face again! I would love a collection video! Don’t feel bad about panning struggles, I think we’ve all panned less than we thought we would this year:)
so nice to see you again. its always a relief to see the regulars i watch and my fellow commenters show up here and there. makes me feel like we're gonna beat this thing!
You have just the perfect fall look today. I've been transitioning my hair as well. I have a small percentage of gray so I've just been using toner instead of color so my gray still shines through. lol Don't stress the crazy, real life comes first. Great update!
So true. I have to give a big shoutout to you on 3 years of NO BUY!!!!! Holy moley- AHHHHHHHHHMAZING. I watched your video last night and everything you said resonated with me about feeling the repetitiveness and not being near as interested in new releases. I came to that conclusion via panning for sure!
So happy to see an update! You're doing so well! So much pan!
And I'd love to see a collection video!! 😍
I am so happy to see someone else using MAC! I love Mac. I have a ton of them in my project too! Great job!
❤️❤️ Don't worry about being late, I'm still catching up on watching videos so I've only just seen this! We all totally get that sometimes life just gets in the way xxxx
I really missed you, glad your back
I'm not panning eye shadow anymore, but I have been enjoying using up eyeliners, lipliners, lipsticks and glosses. :)
I've missed you! So happy to see you! As always...LOVE the content! Thank You for the video!
I really appreciate it Jessica, have a fantastic day today!
So good to see a video from you!! Oh... I’d like to know how you will be changing your eye shadow colors with the change of hair color. I’m in my middle 60’s and still have my hair dyed. Although it’s much lighter brown compared to when I was young, it is lighter and has golden highlights. I don’t think the grey/white/black that is showing in my roots would be flattering to my skin tone. I have olive/golden skin. I can wear some cool tones, but not many. Warm colors are way better on my skin tone.
Hi! Maybe you could do one month one palette? That way you can choose which palette fits your necesities each month and it's also a way to use all your collection and not neglect it.
i like that idea
I hav had my hair every single color including gray and I can tell you warm shadows actually look great, very cool contrast. Honestly the only hair color I have ever had that clashed with makeup was when I had red/orange hair I just could not wear mauve colors.
You're back!!! I've always loved your pan that palette videos but I don't think it makes a difference whether you do an off the shelf palette, a custom palette or just a collection of shadows. If it helps, I decided to skip pan that palette this year and in August I was starting to regret it a little because it didn't feel like I'd made much progress this year. I'm definitely itching to do it again next year.
Just do what feels right to you, I'm super excited to find out what you decide xxoo
I feel the same way about progress, Michelle. Its not even like hitting writer's block but its just kind of like hmmmmm crossroads. Its like I went super neutral train for a couple of palettes and then even though the KVD MVLR gave tons of color options some days I felt burned out with all the color and then this year with so many days of going no makeup at all its definitely made me take a hard look at what I want to do moving forward and get back on track again! I'm a planner and this may get decided like Dec 31 with how back and forth I feel on what to do! LOL
Happy to see another update! I've been going back and forth on what palette I want to pan next year- I really want to do a Natasha Denona palette but I keep waffling on which one!
Monica AP I’ve actually contemplated that myself-I have 3 of her palettes between metropolis, bronze and glam and thought it’d be fun to keep them in mind🙋🏻
I would love to see a "pan that Z palette" :)
maybe if you show us what is in your stash and go through numbers/inventory, we could help you decide better? btw, what is on your nails, Amber?
Thought about that too hence why I'm thinking about a palette collection video! Glad you like the nail color from the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line in "Spice Again." Its an opaque brown with hints of burgundy and shimmer.
So excited to watch ☺️💓
Yay I am part grey with similar skin tone. Can't wait to see your choices.
For mine I'm thinking I'll have a pan that palette but with the goal of hitting pans on everything instead of finishing it and then moving on to a new palette when I accomplish that
You could pan your new Glam palette from Natasha Denona. It's gorgeous.
Its definitely crossed my mind or kind of doing another theme like Back 2 MAC but have it be ND.
What if you picked a large stock palette with the goal to finish as many shades as possible, rather than completing it? Then as you finish each shade, you can pick another one that reflects your current preferences.
Burgundy looks amazing with silver hair. But you have so little silver in your hair, I don't know that you need to factor it into your makeup.
I never knew I'd love burgundy as much as I do! I am always thinking ahead about panning- I wish the color would come across a little truer on camera but the areas in my temples are white and coarse so its looking a little weird in person with how warm my eyeshadow comes acros since both sides are coming in eyelevel against the peach. I also use blue mascara to pop eyecolor so that turns into more of a focal point vs the patches-lol. I think I can still wear burgundy and bring it in with taupes, mauves and cooler browns and it will be striking!
What about one palette a month !?!?!
What blush do U have on ?
Clinique Cheek Pop in "Cola Pop"
@@beudmama wow I was literally trying to order that online before you even mentioned it. It looks amazing on you 😍
