I've been playing this game for some time. It's not a bad game, the Artstyle is good and the Gun Play is smooth. The Real Issue with this game was the lack of Updates and the number of Broken promises. Game Development was restarted recently and was paused before because of lack of Funding.
If you like this artstyle, you should check out Ravenfield. It gets frequently updated, has a tactical gamemode and the Steam workshop is huuuge with weapons, skins, mutators, maps and vehicles. It's a singleplayer sandbox shooter, but there is a free multiplayer mod that has been moved to the steam shop rather than the workshop.

I don't know if I agree with "goofy" shooter but it's more casual and relaxed shooter than others more tactical ones, i.e. Zero hour, ground branch, etc. In my eyes goofy is something like Totally accurate battlegrounds.

It really doesn't matter how photorealistic something looks, if you don't make a screenshot every couple of minutes or shoot a cinematic. There's a very wide zone where the visuals are enough to trick the brain into recognizing things and accepting them as those, while keeping it simple and easy on PC specs too. Actually, there's a whole lot of pro's and close to none con's of making visuals simple, like low-poly or something. At the end of a day, this is how gamer/op process information - "tree, building, possible cover behind sandbags, car, window, open lane, corner, door". Even in visually complex games like EFT it boils down to this, especially when gaining experience on the game. In other words - there's actually no good reason to look for some superrealistic complex visuals, except but overwhelming new players with lots of noise and information.
and the funny thing is, at a higher level, more often than not you'll also see players lowering the game graphics on purpose so the game runs faster and focuses all the performance on the gameplay, so truly even in these scenarios, what matters is the game

What about those who enjoy high quality graphics? What about people who want to play a game but with the added bells and whistles of all that "noise and information"? Damn. I've used to play BF4 but quitted last 2015 because my PC broke down and now using a laptop, which I mainly use for online classes Polygon just hit me with a whole load of nostalgia. Thank you for featuring this game.
I wish I could endorse this game but as someone who has played it since it first went live, they've barely changed anything. It still has audio stolen from other games, the "updated" animations are barely serviceable, and the map balance is awful. It's fun for a little bit but the devs have had literal years to fix some of the most glaring issues and have failed to do so as of late. That being said, it's free and the devs aren't profiting off of anyone playing it, so it's understandable. They need to prioritize their free time and budget wisely. I'm hopeful we'll see work continue on this game.
With those low detailed graphics they should add full, insane destructibility. Allow buildings to fall apart and become leveled. Then this game could become a masterpiece
This is the type of game that getting on Game Pass with some cosmetics could be big. My nephew and a lot of kids his age (11) are bored of Fortnite and not allowed to play COD/BF or other mature shooters. Something like this could fill that gap.
No squad system is the one thing holding me back from even trying it.. I'd love to play with a few friends and I bet we'd go hours on end, otherwise it isn't worth spending time with yet

After stumbling upon this vid, I downloaded it in less than 40 seconds. It's pretty fun. Unfortunately I found out how I was getting pooped on by everyone. They set their graphics to low and it's a turkey shoot. hopefully they fix this soon lol Great vid btw.
I have been playing this game for a while, and if you want to start playing, a few advices, don't get angry or rage quit, matches are not fair, and pre aiming is your best friend, the visibility is also pretty bad, and try to learn the used camping spots(usually in the buildings), where you can stay hidden, and shoot everybody else.
I just try this game today, and it was EPIC. In my first match i drop a 35 bomb XD. I was lot of fun and a pretty game. There still some bugs bcs it's still early access. But overall it's a fantastic game. Love it. Thx for recommending this game.
A game on roblox did something similar to this (in art style) called "polyguns. And a game called "sectors edge", both of which take a spin on the polygon style so check it out if you like stuff like that

Ima just run around the a AK Iron sights....Idk what it is , but Kalishnikov got it so right about those sights , its comfy to look through them and aim with them. They feel so natural for me. Now im off to download this game!

Tried it out and it was fun for a little bit. But the spawn killing is a huge issue. You only have a few spawn points, making it EXTREMELY hard to leave spawn once they got your cornered. And since you only have a few points of spawn, they know where to shoot to kill you instantly. Other than that, the art style and gameplay seem fun, though, until they fix it, don't know if I want to keep playing it.
First thing i noticed when when watching was that the sounds sound like they are a direct rip from Squad not sure if Squads sounds were purchased assets and these devs bought the same sounds from somewhere or if they approached the squad devs, hope it doesn't get them into trouble at all but looks good - might try it out

I want a game that feels like the AAA shooters (CoD, Battlefield) but looks like Valorant or Overwatch. Something that performance isnt an issue and they can be as cool an crazy with skins and stuff without people having an aneurism over it because its "nOt rEaLiStIc". I saw a lot of of polygon graphics type games (or voxel ) and if i will rank this game . will put it near the top of best looking one . the trees and environment actually look pretty nice and the lighting look nice .
these assets have been used in some very great games both in flat and VR applications, IIRC they were given out on humble bundle some time last year and the results of that have given us some fun titles.
I actually have some time played on this game before this video it's fun the community is small because it's been in development for a while now and only gets worked on when he has time to work on but it's still fun.
low poly is perfectly fine as long as the art style they do with it is good. In some ways i prefer low poly colourful games with nice lighting over realistic gritty games where its hard to tell what anything is

This is actually a good game bcos not only its free, its also very realistic while also being cartoony at the same time (idk how the devs pulled this off). Its just the lack of update and bug fix that really downgrades this game. Its also lacks the abilities to communicate with your team (bcos the chat is shit) making your team a pain in the ass sometimes. And their characters blend in way too much in the environment making them impossible to find sometimes and you cant mark or something like that on your enemies, so you really need to peel your eyes open if you wanna live in the game. And i almost forgot, if you hate campers then dont play the game, its full of em, and theres no way to counter them once they get a shot on you (also spawn protection doesnt exists in this game so its prettt unfair and an easy kill for the enemies)
Judging by the first look of weapons reload animations, literally better than back 4 blood when you have to re chamber every time reloading, no matter if there's any bullet left in the gun, it doesn't make a single sense for 2020.
These are some popular assets. Anyone who makes games using unity or unreal can recognize them. I don't have a problem with using assets though, if they are used in the right way. Love the low poly style, it feels relaxing. I don't know why every single shooters have to be photorealistic, there are room for other art style as well. Though I feel like the grind is a bit much. Ravenfield is another fun low poly shooter, its like battlefield but single player.

The game still needs a lot of gameplay optimizations they only have one player model which makes it hard to distinguish enemy from friendly and using low graphics settings give a huge advantage and makes it easy to spot people in the distance and grenades do too much damage and also cheaters kill you behind cover i only played it for 1 hour but that was enough for me to notice those issues
i mean they will probably add groups in later on like it took fortnite quiet awhile to add in duos/squads. Like you said we don't know what kind of budget they have so might take longer.
This game really needs blood and gore. This art style can do it so fantastically and it would really make this game stand out since there arent too many "gorey" fps games

I downloaded this game thinking it would be like BF, but I was mistaken. Visuals are good, I like the graphics, but for me personally, it was hard to spot enemies. This is very slow, it’s not like you can run around and shoot people and just dominate. It has a stamina bar, it has low ttk which is expected, but insane recoil (at least for the starter gun). I was hoping for a more arcade shooter experience, but you can’t run and gun, its a slow paced game which isn’t for me

2:40 you can "manually" squad up, because there are so few servers. just pick one with like 2-3 slots free and youre good to go.

The game still needs a lot of gameplay optimizations they only have one player model which makes it hard to distinguish enemy from friendly and using low graphics settings give a huge advantage and makes it easy to spot people in the distance and grenades do too much damage and also cheaters kill you behind cover i only played it for 1 hour but that was enough for me to notice those issues
I liked to play Battlefield Heroes back in the day. It had somewhat similar artstyle
i mean they will probably add groups in later on like it took fortnite quiet awhile to add in duos/squads. Like you said we don't know what kind of budget they have so might take longer.

This game really needs blood and gore. This art style can do it so fantastically and it would really make this game stand out since there arent too many "gorey" fps games

Well i would recommend Recoil Zombies on Roblox. Same low-poly graphics with black ops zombies mode.

I downloaded this game thinking it would be like BF, but I was mistaken. Visuals are good, I like the graphics, but for me personally, it was hard to spot enemies. This is very slow, it’s not like you can run around and shoot people and just dominate. It has a stamina bar, it has low ttk which is expected, but insane recoil (at least for the starter gun). I was hoping for a more arcade shooter experience, but you can’t run and gun, its a slow paced game which isn’t for me
