Yasser Youssef agree 💯 I forgot what I did with the phone but I wish I saved it for memorabilia storage.. I probably did the trade in thing tho cuz I can’t find it anywhere :-/
If you think that phone had a long battery life, then you should have seen the Motorola C139 that came before the Razar series, I had one as my first phone, and that little puck could go for almost a week on no charge with minimal usage.
I had a couple of these back in the day. Loved them! 100% would buy one now if they redid it looking exactly the same with modern bits inside and a high res screen.
I purchased one for my wife and I along with the customized back plates with our last names on them. Those were the times. I also had the all black model with the blue glowing M front logo. That was my absolute favorite.
I LOVED my Razr phone back when! I had it in college, and that thing was so durable, and looked amazing as well! I bet that I dropped it 1,000 times and it kept working. it was Probably my favorite phone "pre smart phones" Era of all time. If they released one of those again, i'd want one for old times sake : ) !! Good times! I think i still have mine in a drawer somewhere.
Why is Motorola not bringing this back ?! Or least bring it back to the market like the Nokia 3310 or the banana phone recently with updated specs and touch screen capable...
This was the first cell that I was proud to own, I thought it was beautiful in every way. I owned two and the only issue I had was their durability. My first one was ruined when I got caught in the rain. Besides that I loved it and it's the only retro cell I would carry.
I wish for that myself, but I highly doubt Lenovo is going to do that, as they are so heavily invested in pushing their Android phones with their E, and G lines selling so well right now.
Maranello Santiago I currently have a G3, G4(my elder mother's daily driver), my daily driver a G5 plus and my girlfriend has a Moto E5 cruise on cricket wireless, the others are unlocked phones on cricket wireless.
My dad, mom, grandpa, grandma, and uncle’s on both sides all had one in varying colors and models. They were all universally loved for their durability and design. The razr has to be THE most iconic phone of the early to mid 2000’s.
We need more videos like this, it's amazing to see mobile history, because we kinda forget how we used to interact with our phones 10 years ago. Good job!
I had this phone from 2005-2012.... most beautiful phone ever I have used ... Sometimes I used to forget it was even in my pocket .. I still have it but it doesn't work ...
Good old memories, I remember back in 2005 I went to buy a phone taking in mind of Moto RAZR, but bought instead a Samsung sgh-x700 but I regretted a lot after many times..
I didn't have the Razr, I had the moto Rizr, which was a close sibling of the Razr. Instead of flipping open, it slid open and had all of the same style and design of the Razr. My favorite non-smartphone I ever had
I loved the Razr V3 back in the day, I had it as an AT&T Go Phone, and at the time the most I had ever payed for a phone at $130 USD with $100 worth of service for the entire year, I was very very sad a year, and 1/2 later when in a boating accident it got lost to depths of the Savanna River :-(
I had one of these when it just come out and paid the full outright price with the special leather case and BT headset to go with it. Except for the interface lag it was brilliant and a huge step up from the Nokia 8110 I had before it ( matrix phone for those who dont know). I paid somwhere in the AU$800 mark (cant remember exactly) and was really bummed when they were closing out at AU$129.
Good video J.V. Can u revisit the Motorola StarTac from late '90's early 2000's? That was another flip phone in addition to the Razr that everyone carried. And what were the total sales of these 2 models throughout the years. Nokia, I remember had the market cornered then but the Razor and the StarTac were giving Nokia a run for it's money.
was a good phone back in the day but alot of them didnt take memory cards and you were lucky to get 1 song to fit on the tiny internal memory lol..sony erricson walkman phones were the number 1 for music at that time
I remember when my teacher had one back then. Me and the other kids would flock all over him after class just to see his phone. Sometimes he would lend this phone to us for a few minutes so we could game lol
Hey John,,I had a sanyo,, can't remember the name,,but it mimiced the Razor. Didn't have the power or maybe all the quality of the Razor, but cost half as much. Made out of metal as well,, same thin design. I loved sanyo phone at that time because of the speakers. Thick yas, but that's because the high resolution screen and big loud speaker was the top flip of the phone. My last flip was the sanyo m1. High resolution screen,,not much good high resolution did on a 11/2 inch screen. But that was pretty cool back then. Cept for internet searching and the like,,i kinda miss the simplicity of the true phones. Now we have baby computers that have basic phone service.
My buddy had this phone while I had the Nokia N95. He thought his phone was all that until I showed him what mine could do. He was quiet and didn't know phones could do such things. Lol.. Ah. Memories.
Candybar, flip, slider and qwerty. I'd go with a slider qwerty but they don't make those anymore. BB Priv was the last slider qwerty. And it asked way more money than it was worth.
$600. It was mostly a luxury item then. It looked good, but it was mainly used for calling and maybe some texting and gaming. I'll gladly pay $800-$1,000 now for a phone but that's because we use our smartphones for EVERYTHING these days.
That keyboard when lit up.. still looks dope today...
this phone is still beautiful today
TVCH LORD indeed
Agreed
Aged great
omg yesss i so agree
I want one but they're only 2G
I loved this phone, opening, closing, opening, closing, opening, closing, opening, closing, opening, closing etc, so satisfying!!
i look for someone like this, please can you give me a name of any phone.
@@mohamedfehmilajili4451 "I look for someone like this" LMFAO Your life must be fuckin amazing!!
The Original "Fidget Spinner" !!!
@@VanBalion he obviously meant he's "looking for *something* like this" it was a typo. English probably isn't his first language. Quit being a d-bag.
@@CataLyst7 Swapping someone with something makes even less sense
Back when Motorola was Motorola.
Moto razer still looks great...
It's design is still better than today's phones...
Tbh I think Motorola should bring back the original Razr. Just update the internals. Still my favorite phone of all time.
I agree. Modern specs and cameras but same design
yessss!!! lets make a campaign
They did :)
they did exactly that.
Still looks really good today. It'd be cool if they re-released it with modern dumb phone specs, kinda like Nokia has done recently.
NeedyForMusic check out Binatone Blade phone 2017
they should for real. i'll be so happy
They did it
Phone that time travelled
I miss this phone. One of my best phones I ever owned
Yasser Youssef agree 💯 I forgot what I did with the phone but I wish I saved it for memorabilia storage.. I probably did the trade in thing tho cuz I can’t find it anywhere :-/
Never was able to get a RAZR back in early 2ks..... Always coveted coworkers cool phones. Thanks for the call back!
I had this phone and i loved it. It was small, really thin, and amazing voice clarity. It also had a battery life that lasts for days...
If you think that phone had a long battery life, then you should have seen the Motorola C139 that came before the Razar series, I had one as my first phone, and that little puck could go for almost a week on no charge with minimal usage.
If I had to rock a flip phone today, I'd want the RAZR!
Darrion S me too
What about the Pebble U6 or the Sony Ericsson W300?
I had a couple of these back in the day. Loved them! 100% would buy one now if they redid it looking exactly the same with modern bits inside and a high res screen.
I purchased one for my wife and I along with the customized back plates with our last names on them. Those were the times. I also had the all black model with the blue glowing M front logo. That was my absolute favorite.
I always wanted this phone as a child. I want it still now.
Miss those small flip phones. I had the samsung m9 last flip phone. It's was even more narrow than the razor. 2006.
Checkout, Samsung w2018
Check out Samsung w2019
Funny to see a flip phone that runs snapdragon 845
I loved my razr, when you're 8 that phone was made of magic
Dega Jago you're off by about 49 years
I LOVED my Razr phone back when! I had it in college, and that thing was so durable, and looked amazing as well! If they released one of those again, i'd want one for old times sake : ) !! Good times! I think i still have mine in a drawer somewhere.
If I could go back in time, this phone reminds me of my best days and simpler times.
I still have two (2) of these and they work very very very well.... Gold and Black versions ohhhhhh is still turns heads
Can i get one
Why is Motorola not bringing this back ?! Or least bring it back to the market like the Nokia 3310 or the banana phone recently with updated specs and touch screen capable...
Legendary

AHHH good old times, my sister had the dolce gabanna V3 the gold one, i was so jealous hahaha
I had this phone in middle school. Nice to know I was cool.
Oh my god, i want to cry. I was in 5th grade when i wanted one of those phones and I still do. Look at it. It looks so nice.
If I could still use that phone today I would it was and still is stunning in it's design..
They could rerelease it with upgraded specs, LTE, USB-C and Kai OS.
I wish for that myself, but I highly doubt Lenovo is going to do that, as they are so heavily invested in pushing their Android phones with their E, and G lines selling so well right now.
Maranello Santiago or make an Android based dual screen flip phone like the Samsung W2018
Commodorefan64 I have an E4 myself, i had two of them.
Maranello Santiago I currently have a G3, G4(my elder mother's daily driver), my daily driver a G5 plus and my girlfriend has a Moto E5 cruise on cricket wireless, the others are unlocked phones on cricket wireless.
+Maranello Santiago, hey! They did. it's shipped with Android. :D
This phone gave me so much memories during the mid 2000s.
That keypad was a treat to look at.
My dad, mom, grandpa, grandma, and uncle’s on both sides all had one in varying colors and models. They were all universally loved for their durability and design. The razr has to be THE most iconic phone of the early to mid 2000’s.

V3 looks awesome.
I used that same motorolal flip phone! I had it back in school in early 2000s. Still have it in my old phone collection lol.
This phone would be so dope in 2018 if only KaiOS could be somehow installed in it 🔥🔥🔥
Kai OS suck
02:15 even in 2018 this still looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. Coolest looking phone ever made!
I had this phone many years ago
That was a good phone
I was 14 when this phone was released. Talk about status symbol! Had my ipod, digital camera and my razr. Look out world!
Just yesterday I had found this historical phone in an old drawer. It was a very magical experience
I have this badass baby during my late elementary at early high school years. Ahhhhh
Good old memories, I remember back in 2005 I went to buy a phone taking in mind of Moto RAZR, but bought instead a Samsung sgh-x700 but I regretted a lot after many times..
Man, that time, that was my fav phone. The keys were revolutionary
I loved my RAZR! It was my last phone before getting an iPhone... fond memories!
I still have that phone, even think about it for some odd reason every once in a while. good vid
I used to luv that phone and ending up buying it twice 😄
i have used slvr7 and slvr9 of motorola and i really loved it back then.
Coolest phone ever.period.
Motorola RARZ2 V9 was the most beautiful and best :)
I think :)
almost my whole family had this phone! I had this in dark blue. It was really a nice one
Adjusted to inflation, Razr V3 was priced equal to $860 of todays money. Not exactly a cheap phone even nowadays.
Really good phone! I had one myself and sometimes I wish I still had one.
If you buy one of these off eBay can you put a modern Verizon SIM card in it and get it to work..?
I got this phone on my eleventh birthday. Still my best ever birthday present
I didn't have the Razr, I had the moto Rizr, which was a close sibling of the Razr. Instead of flipping open, it slid open and had all of the same style and design of the Razr. My favorite non-smartphone I ever had
It was my dream phone when i was in college..at that time i can't afford that phone ..it was really awsm phone..
My first phone & I still have it today!
Still have this phone
I loved the Razr V3 back in the day, I had it as an AT&T Go Phone, and at the time the most I had ever payed for a phone at $130 USD with $100 worth of service for the entire year, I was very very sad a year, and 1/2 later when in a boating accident it got lost to depths of the Savanna River :-(
Nostalgia makes everything appear sooo good
I remember drooling over this phone in shops as a kid
One of the most iconic and memorable phones ever made.
i looooved my razr back in the days! still got mine :D
I used to have a RAZR v3m. It was a good phone for its time.
That keypad design is present in BioHazard substratum theme for Android, i applied that theme for my Google dialer on my Moto Z, truely nostalgic 😊
I remember begging my dad to get me one of these when I was like six or seven years old and it had just come out.
Where can I buy it?
Is it still available
was a good phone back in the day but alot of them didnt take memory cards and you were lucky to get 1 song to fit on the tiny internal memory lol..sony erricson walkman phones were the number 1 for music at that time
Ironically I'm watching this video on the same phone (kinda, I'm on an S9) shown in the intro and have a RAZR V3. Oh, the simpler days...
I remember...it was so beautiful
Im only 11 but i loved that phone... it's actully what got me started in technology in 2016 sadly in 2018 I stepped on it and broke it
I was on nextel and then Sprint when this phone came out, so as is tradition, I missed out on all the cool phones.
My step-dad ran one of those all the way up until 2014. No joke.
The Razer was a must have phone when I was a kid. unfortunately I never had it.
I remember when my teacher had one back then. Me and the other kids would flock all over him after class just to see his phone. Sometimes he would lend this phone to us for a few minutes so we could game lol
What operating system does razr runs ??
I still keep my v3 coz it is my first phone that i bought with my own money
Had every color and every version , krzr and rizr 😀

That flip phone is a true witness of 00' kids drama back then when they're hung up their phone.
My buddy had this phone while I had the Nokia N95. He thought his phone was all that until I showed him what mine could do. He was quiet and didn't know phones could do such things. Lol.. Ah. Memories.
Watching this on my Razr 5G. I still have an original Razr that I fidget with on my desk.
Candybar, flip, slider and qwerty. I'd go with a slider qwerty but they don't make those anymore. BB Priv was the last slider qwerty. And it asked way more money than it was worth.
Thanks for the video guys ..this phone is love !!
you spent the entire video talking about the design. How bout elaborating more on the specs of the phone??
I wish Samsung would bring them new flip smartphones over here. I would definitely get one.
I love Motorola v3 flip mobile phones🤙🤩🤩
$600. It was mostly a luxury item then. It looked good, but it was mainly used for calling and maybe some texting and gaming.
I'll gladly pay $800-$1,000 now for a phone but that's because we use our smartphones for EVERYTHING these days.
This phone was and still amazing til this day.
Always look new 😙
Always love same😙
I used to love this phone
Do the Moto Rokr next

My brother had a v3i,memories.
