This comment may be viewed as unpopular but here goes anyway. This little mini update is a gift for the players. There does not have to always be a “hidden reason” behind something like this. It’s what I call a “gimme”, and I for one am extremely excited and am just going to take it in the spirit in which it was given, play with the new products and move on. No trying to analyze it to death as to why we’re getting this now, or is this going to replace a future update that might be coming…who cares for crying out loud. I’m just grateful that the team has given us this new item to enhance our game play. 😬
Using both sugar mills, 4 white sugars require 1:08, two syrup requires 1:16. Using the one waffle maker, with 4 sugar, you can make two plain waffles (0:50); and with two syrup, you can make two berry waffles (1:10). 2:24 time is required on the sugar mills to produce things that are finished in 2:00 on the waffle maker, so it is impossible to keep up. Now, you can make chocolate waffles without additional sugar, so with 0:34, you can make one waffle and one chocolate waffle for 1:05 time spent on the waffle maker. Relative efficiency: only plain waffles, 73.53%, one plain and then one berry waffle: 83.33%. However, if you now make one plain and then one chocolate waffle, the efficiency is 191.17% Thus, at this point, you can use the sugar mills non-stop, and then use the waffle maker non-stop, but still almost half of the sugar produced need not be devoted to making waffles. With 1213 hours left to get three stars on the waffle maker, I have a much better chance of getting it completed in the next 51 days, so assuming a few more delays, I should finally get three stars on or around July 10. Its a very necessary upgrade. Next, nine berry waffles are made in 5:15, but nine chocolate waffles are made in 6:00, so an additional 45 minutes is spent using the waffle maker (for three stars) while you're sleeping.
Wow! Yay! The new products are pretty cool, and they look great too. So happy the chocolate waffle uses cacao and nit a chocolate bar. I'll definitely be naming my Australian pelican Daisy Thanks for another great video!
Mini update looks great! Just hope it doesn’t put a clink in the derby. From previous experience updates large or small don’t always go without issues.

Best hay day content creator! :) I always write your tag to boost you on my main farm and on all my baby farms... but I've noticed that the tag doesn't stick for long - I don't know how many times I have had to re-write your tag (creator boost text line is empty suddenly)... It makes me sad if you are loosing out on whatever the boost does.

I was hoping for a new waffle soon that would take a bit longer so I can get the machine mastered. I'm close to the second star. I'm glad they didn't wait till the next major update. 🙂
So looking forward to these additions. Already figuring out in my head best way to incorporate decorations into my farm! I hope they are associated with diamond packs as I would by them all! 😃

Does not seem to be working. I can see new products in gray but cannot make them, even though I am level 198

Anyone having issues with not having the ability to make these new items ? Says it unlocks at level 117, but I’m way past that !
