I'm italian and I seriously hope Armenia could win. I totally fell in love with his voice and this song, when the dubstep part begins, his voice makes me feel something i can't explain... AMAZING!
This is a winner's song. Love it. The performance and the staging is amazing. I love the galaxy in the beginning, and how they build up the performance with the song. The vocals are flawless in the second part of the song, but in the first part it was not as good. But I'm sure Aram will be less nervous in the final, and he'll do an even better performance 10th of May. Good luck Armenia, from Sweden!
One of the best entries in Eurovision's history ever. Such a unique, and powerful voice. The lyrics are simple and create such a mysterious and haunting feel to the song. An amazing performance! 2014 was a tough year; so many great songs.. If he'd sung this any other year, he'd probably have a much bigger chance of winning.
Я заметила тенденцию, что многие не довольны тем, что "все веселье" и динамика песни припасены на конец, остальная же часть слишком спокойная и унылая, по мнению некоторых. Позвольте выразить мой взгляд на это. Если вы послушаете песню с самого начала, то услышите, что играет только фортепиано, затем тихо добавляется скрипка, потом она звучит громче и Арам поет громче и в конце " выстреливает" дапстеп на фоне симфонического оркестра. Суть музыки- нарастающая постепенно динамика и, если бы, дапстеп пустили изначально как припев, то вся красота, которая вызывает у людей мурашки по телу просто исчезла бы. Букмекеры поэтому и ставят на эту песню- потому что несмотря на довольно заурядный текст - это настоящий шедевр! Второе открытие для меня- Венгрия. Спеть про домашнее насилие в семье на фоне крутейшего драма в препеве- тоже что-то реально новое! Оба - мои фавориты. Арама на первое место, а Андрюшу-Николая на второе!

I must have listened to this song about a million times by now... And it still sends shivers down my spine. It's so different, just building up more and more and then there is like a big explosion... Not the usual verse, refrain, verse, refrain etc. The violin is just amazing and makes this song so powerful. Love it! 12 points from Sweden... :)

This is what we call "Nubstep". I can literally hear the raw, unedited, unaltered. uncompressed, untransmodded and unsausagefattenered drum samples and the boring very bad sounding bass. Really, singer might be good, but don't try to make dubstep unless you are actually good at it.
RubyVesper You are wrong. The singer is NOT good. The dubstep/nubstep is the best part in this song. In the small parts I heard I thought this was a pretty good song, but it is just one of the worst. If they send someone to a singing contest, then they should send someone who can actually sing.

In my opinion this is the best song in 2014 Eurovision. Great vocals, stage performance and pretty cool dubstep (say chillstep) beat. The music is just awesome! All of the contestants are different, and it's hard to compare folk or soft rock music, for instance, with modern stuff like this or kind of drum and bass song from Hungary. Personally I select high quality music and songs that go with the times. 'Not Alone' is one of the few highest quality songs in the contest, but what makes it the best is that it's different, it's contemporary, and this is something really new to the Eurovision. Got to check out the rest of the songs by Aram. Hope he wins. Europe deserves to see how great is Yerevan. Love Armenia! Привет из России.

The second part was pretty amazing... he has an intereting powerful voice. The first part saddly though seemed quited week and unconvincing. I get that it was supposed to make a contrast, but it could have been done better. Still probably my favorite song =]

This is what we call "Nubstep". I can literally hear the raw, unedited, unaltered. uncompressed, untransmodded and unsausagefattenered drum samples and the boring very bad sounding bass. Really, singer might be good, but don't try to make dubstep unless you are actually good at it.
RubyVesper You are wrong. The singer is NOT good. The dubstep/nubstep is the best part in this song. In the small parts I heard I thought this was a pretty good song, but it is just one of the worst. If they send someone to a singing contest, then they should send someone who can actually sing.
Animiles By good, I mean better than your average person who thinks he can sing. Compared to others, I think he sings "eh". Not really great.

In my opinion this is the best song in 2014 Eurovision. Great vocals, stage performance and pretty cool dubstep (say chillstep) beat. The music is just awesome! All of the contestants are different, and it's hard to compare folk or soft rock music, for instance, with modern stuff like this or kind of drum and bass song from Hungary. Personally I select high quality music and songs that go with the times. 'Not Alone' is one of the few highest quality songs in the contest, but what makes it the best is that it's different, it's contemporary, and this is something really new to the Eurovision. Got to check out the rest of the songs by Aram. Hope he wins. Europe deserves to see how great is Yerevan. Love Armenia! Привет из России.

The second part was pretty amazing... he has an intereting powerful voice. The first part saddly though seemed quited week and unconvincing. I get that it was supposed to make a contrast, but it could have been done better. Still probably my favorite song =]
If he was a better singer, the first part could have been really cool as well. IMO best studio version, but not the that good live unfortunately.
