There goes my nephew Mr. Fix it all. Ron, I love how you just make everything so simple when it comes to building and repairing hell you make me want to go and get a damn tool belt and start building houses myself. Keep the tutorials coming. 🔨🔧🔨🏡
You are right on time for me with this video. I been watching old videos, but you explained using the no squeek screws, how to measure, etc., so much more clearer. Thanks Ron!!
Ron, another excellent and instructive video! I used to live in a house where the stairs and floor squeaked noisily. The squeaking bugged me, but hubby felt it gave more security protection at night, so it was a win for him, hehe. Btw, I also wrote you an email a while ago. I'm not sure if you got it.
hello your video has been the best video by far! I search all over even saw a video from this old house. nothing was as clear as yours. but I do have a question. should we be worried about hitting an electrical pipe/wire or water line? I live in Chicago house is about almost 100 years old. you seem to know a lot about houses. let me know. thanks again. im sure others want to know as well.
Ron can you do a video on laying laminate floors I’m stuck on cutting the corners I have a table saw and a circular saw is there a specific tool I need this is in the basement on concrete floors and underpayment was used.
It was all good till you said " sneak outta da house" 😆 🤣 😂 Great Vid tho Mr. Ron. Deff going to show my kid. Her creek-y floor drives her crazy. Is that an expensive piece? Thank you for sharing. Today I learned something new. Happy 4th Sir.
What can i do for a garage turned into a den . Im sure there is concrete under wood with carpet layed over . In front of my dryer it squeaks and drives me crazy . How could i fix that ?
It’s a stud finder. The kit also comes with longer screws to drill into the floor to find the joist. It’s a trial and error method. That particular stud finder is called a Franklin Sensor and can be purchased at Lowe’s.
I hired a contractor to install laminate floor in our guest bedroom now the laminate are separating and don’t know what to do. I can’t call the contractor back because he is fighting lung cancer.

Welcome!
Wow, clearly no one walked my home after building. I might be able to fix the squeak on the stairs and upstairs landing now though!
There’s really no excuses for new construction. I should have caught this before the carpet was installed. You can definitely fix your issue!

Hi, wondering, if it is squeaking due to bad subfloor(for example due to water damage) can this method fix the squeaks?
It was all good till you said " sneak outta da house" 😆 🤣 😂

Same method. Subfloor needs to be attached to whatever wood is below.
If we don't have this yellow tool, how else can I find the location of the bottom slats? What is the name of this yellow device?

I’m not even a minute into the video and put the specs on screen…
I also put a link in the description…
