Another cracking video. Thank you! It would be super interesting, I think, to read an analysis of the current Russo-Ukraine war through the prism of Hubin's ideas.

heh, very interesting and insightful. That made me realize. I don't know if this is just western propaganda or just bias. We like to talk and praise so much how Gustavus Adolphus and Napoleon are some of the greatest commanders, studied and learned about ever since....
But you lined out Ferdinand Foch's Principles of War so clearly and understandably it immediately reminded me how, now completely forgotten, Stanislaw Koniecpolski and Albrecht von Wallenstein, 2 Slavs, completely outclassed and defeated the protestant poster-child of a philosopher-king-commander.
How they did it? By understanding and following the Principles of War completely and at all times....
I do wonder, does Ferdinand Foch cite them? :D

"Foch and Beaufre provide Hubin with a basic intellectual framework as well as a critical working vocabulary instantly understood by French officers. This framework helps make Hubin’s ideas more coherent than Training and Doctrine Command’s _pamphlet_ "
    Oooh, playing the mean girl😂.

@@JohnHughesChampigny lol. Thing is, it's so true. Proof: I find him easier to read--in French--than I do TRADOC publications.

Very much a doctrine for limited war by an imperial constabulary force and not total war by an industrial society facing an existential threat. Perhaps more relevant in 2000 in than 2025 in Ukraine or the Pacific.

Fascinating. I see so much of these strategies being used by russian forces. Let's hope the Ukrainian's get up to speed.

Macgregor never expressed beliefs in Qanon theories like pizzagate, and while i dont agree with him on must issues just because he has different opiniosn than you does´t mean he should be blacklisted
