This is one of the most unique metal sounds I’ve ever heard. Progressive blackened death metal backed by uplifting and richly layered ethereal and symphonic soundscapes. The melodies and harmonies are so sonically unique. It’s a bit like a blackgazey Ne Obliviscaris, but that doesn’t do it justice, it’s so much its own thing. Absolutely beautiful album to boot - I am filled with so much emotion and can’t stop listening.

Minute 11:40 from the first song is a straight punch in the face. This album is a beauty masterpiece in all senses. Aggressive and at the same time atmospherical. I could definitely watch them performing on live. Maybe some day. Congratulations for this exceptional album.

I had their first album on permanent repeat, especially the track Mother, absolute banger of an album and one of my favorites. Here they take that skill shown in their debut and kick it up a notch by about 10 times, its so good and has a nice beauty to it. :D
I took a hit, laid down and closed my eyes, and went on a fucking journey in the ether. Stellar album. Crazy experimental and abstract (especially last song...damn) but it all works perfectly. 11/10. I wish I could see this live.
While Shadow Burn still is my favorite album, and one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time (including one of my favorite album covers btw), this is majestic. Fucking Alex dude, he never fails to impress me with how fucking beautiful he makes music. Every single instrument just sounds so good. The talent overflows and I love every single second of it. I was so bummed out finding Shadow Burn several months late and knowing the shirt was sold out on my size. I dont usually buy merch like shirts from a band if it isnt my favorite piece of work from them, but I am seriously considering breaking that rule right now because I just feel like giving this dude some fucking money for the amazing music he lets me enjoy. Plus...the cover looks so fucking cool and beautiful too!!!!!
