- This is a cover of both "The River" and "River's End" from the game Outer Wilds : Echoes of the Eye.
Composition credits go to Andrew Prahlow and I do not own any rights on the music.
All parts are arranged, played and recorded by myself.
Filming and part of the editing done by Alexandre Garros.
The "Strangers' symbol" logo on the thumbnail was designed by BitRadical.
One ambient water sound comes from the game, others were recorded on location.

That moment when, for the first time, you drop the raft into the water and get your first look at the Stranger... my god that was incredible.

Thank you very much ! I always try to stick close to the original piece, and bring a little twist if I can.
Sometimes I feel like I don’t belong and playing Echoes of the Eye made that feeling so much worse. The way the Stranger’s inhabitants charged at me, the way they stopped to stare at me, the way they looked at me just before blowing out my lantern, everything was telling me that I didn’t belong and that I wasn’t supposed to be here. That I was the Stranger. But when I heard this song and when I thought about my friends, in the game and in real life, I thought about how they wouldn’t want me to give up, they would want me to fight on. So when I hear this song, it makes think that this is the game’s way of telling me to keep going and always be creative and curious, it filled me with a “strange” feeling of determination and even through the hardest parts of the game, I loved every fraction of a nanosecond of it. I love the challenge.

I don’t think I got the quote right but it’s the closest I could remember to the actual one, anyways, this cover is great.
One could say that it’s “Wild”
But that would be “Strange.”
We all belong in the song of the Universe. Just point your signalcope at it and you'll hear.
Of course the creatures aboard the Stranger think you don't belong. They live inside a bubble inside a bubble, in fear of the world and the fact that it may one day end.
It is better to persist in discomfort than to go stagnant and rot in safety.

Фантастика! Во время просмотра этого ролика, я вспомнил тот кайф когда я, рассекая волны, плыл по чужаку на небольшом плоту и знакомый грохот заставлял поднимать голову вверх. Тогда я видел привычную картину - плотина сломалась и огромная волна неслась по искревленному пространству чужака, чтобы сбить меня с моего маленького плотика.

That was a beautiful cover, and some very nice video work as well! I always thought it was a shame in Echoes that the river music stopped whenever you got off of the raft, so I never got to listen to it for that long because I had puzzles to solve. I enjoyed taking a moment to listen to this and fill that gap. :)
This is so beautiful!!!!!! It sort of made me relive that moment when I entered the stranger for the first time and felt the wind blowing through my hair while riding the tides

Thank you so much! The bouzouki is sold by Thomann under their own brand but the tag inside says made by Hora, which is Romanian apparently.

Des fois je suis là, je repense à cette première fois où j'ai pris le radeau. Les premières notes qui se sont jouées, mes poils se sont hérissées d'un coup. J'ai pas compris. Je me suis arreté pour écouter. Et je ne sais pas ce qu'il ss'est passé. Juste un coup de coeur finalement. Et là je découvre tout juste ta cover Pozo et je suis juste amoureuse de ces notes. Elles résonnent si fort en moi, elle me parle, elle m'entraine, m'emporte. J'ai envie de retrouver sur l'étranger et repartir à la découverte des mystères de cette petite planète. Je me revois encore leur dire au revoir à tous et je ne pourrais jamais décrire le sentiment que j'ai ressentis à ce moment là. Comme une partie de ma vie qui s'arrête, qui prend fin. C'est fort pour un jeu, et pourtant c'est exactement comme ça que je l'ai ressentis. J'ai réecouté maintes et maintes fois cette musique et chaque fois, j'ai eu des frissons. Chaque fois elle joue en moi. Merci encore une fois de me refaire vivre cette aventures à travers les plus belles notes que j'ai pu entendre. Merci Pozo
Wow c'est fort. Mais je le comprends, comment oublier ce moment ? Pour ma part ce qui a vraiment scellé cette mélodie en moi c'est le fait de l'entendre à chaque moment passé sur un radeau, aussi court soit-il. Tous ces moment où on se rend d'un point A à un point B, où on essaie d'assimiler les informations et d'assembler toutes les pièces, où on a ces instants de clarté soudaine. Le fait qu'elle apparaisse et disparaisse comme si elle ne s'arrêtait jamais, c'est un choix de design que je trouve excellent. Pour moi elle ne s'est jamais arrêtée.
