Been watching Will and Alex for a while and seen a lot of their interviews but this one is hands down the BEST one so far. Matty D is such a gem - the man must be protected at all costs. What a wonderful human being.
One of the best interviews/sit down conversations i've heard with Devlin. You could tell there's a lot of mutual respect and REAL friendship between everyone there. Devlin can sometimes come off as a bit stiff when doing interviews but here he really opened up and we learned quite a bit hearing from him here. It helps that this wasn't on a time clock and you guys could just shoot the breeze without having to cut it short.

Matt and Jack are the most charismatic broadcasters in the NBA in my opinion. Every time I check out other teams broadcasts the commentary just isn't on the same level. You're a Canadian Icon Matty D!

I still have my pleather jacket that got melted in the sun. I waited almost 8 hrs at Nathan Phillips Square. The next chip parade in the city needs to be better organized. No camping out to get in venues & better crowd control measures.

Loved this episode a lot! So cool to get Matty D’s perspective/insight. Gotta maybe work on not talking over one another, not leading your guest, and not letting your guest speak… was a bit awkward to watch at times lol felt disingenuous at certain points too
First off yea, we need to “tank / develope” this season and next. If there’s any years to be bad it’s this coming year and next. The drafts are stacked.
So really I hope we start 5-20. Trade yak and BRude brown , Chris bouchier.
But what gets lost in the shuffle… is what these vets add to the youngsters. They teach them to be better men, better players, better pros! It seems most people don’t think about this. So it’s tough, I see the benefit of keeping them around. But I do believe we need the young studs more. Keep Garrett temple, and maybe keep one other vet, kelly o.
But I do feel we need to tank, and tank hard. Get a top five pick this year, and a top ten pick next year. Then we should be good for 5-10 years to come.
And even with the year of trade for Kawhi Raps wasn't favored to come out of the East much less win the chip but here come Knicks w/ not even a deep or better roster than the 2018-19 team favored 4 to win the chip after trading for Kat.
I think Alex needs to be behind the scenes. Show has potential with just Will and guests.
Definitely understand this perspective but having to get guests every episode would be tough and so would will tryna carry the show solo.
Should have traded Scottie for KD kept Fred, Siakam, and OG with that core we would be title contenders instead we are back to purgatory I just don't see Scottie ever becoming a top 5 player.

The Raptors broadcast team of Matty D and Jack are past their due date. They are stale and old. Time for some new blood. Bring back VC to call Raptors games along with Sherm or Jonesy. The all female broadcast team was much better and fresher than Matty D and Jack.
