    I agree about Proizd, been there last year. For me personally Korcula as an island is something special, it's not as touristy as other islands in the region, has a ''roughness'' , a lot of hidden beaches (uvale) where you can enjoy the sound of waves and crickets , and it's close to Lastovo , Vis, Hvar, Dubrovnik.... not to mention food and wine

    • @PureDetour
      @PureDetour  2 года назад

      We really love Korcula as well, it does feel less touristy than many places we visited. I'm so glad you got to visit Proizd! It's really a special place.

    Since you are already there in Dalmatia, Croatia, you might as well visit Bosnia~Herzegovina towards Medjugorje, to receive blessings by the Blessed Virgin Mary.

      Vladimir, what a sweet comment, thank you so much. It is so easy to be enthusiastic about such a beautiful land. We have no plans to return to Canada soon, but I love Ottawa as I went to University there and would be honored to visit and see your art. ❤🇭🇷

    Just a question: is it true you can't leave Canada if not vaccinated 🤔? Thank you kindly for the answer and thank you for the lovely video of my beloves Dalmatia 💙

    • @PureDetour
      @PureDetour  2 года назад +1

      Hi! I think that it used to be that you needed a vaccine to board a plane or train, but you could still leave via land border. Now I think that Proof of vaccination is no longer required to board a plane or train in Canada. We love Dalmatia and had an amazing stay. Thanks for watching!

      @@PureDetour Vis is perfect in so many way... It is one of the most quite islands - there is not much apartments, most beautiful beaches, very clear sea as it is far for land. Perfect size, not too small not to big so you are in max 30 min at every hot spot place.
      Sunsets in Komiža at Hum peak, Srebrna beach, Stiniva beach, Grandovac beach, Stončica i Zogolov sand beaches... Great local vine at Aerodrom konoba. Great testing basement at Lipanovic vines.
      Perfect nature and lot of wild plants.
      So much to see...

    Croatia has over 1000 islands, most uninhabited. How can anyone pick a couple of them and declare them the best without seeing most of them? They all have amazing beaches, clear water, pine tree groves, etc. I would tell you what my favorite is, but I won't...I'm selfish. I don't want army of tourists to ruin it.

      No where in the video do we say it is a definitive list and that our opinion is the be all/end of places to visit in Dalmatia. What we did say is that this OUR top 5 can't miss places to visit in Dalmatia. I would like to think that anybody with an objective mind would know that we are not claiming this to be to the only reference people should use to decide where to visit in Croatia
