I’ve always found it weird when people say a win was ‘lucky’ and ‘they were lucky to get away with that’ etc. How many times have sides been ‘unlucky’?? It’s like golf. When something ‘lucky’ happens on the course you take it every single time because there’s plenty of bad luck we all experience. Football is the same. That own goal was super lucky for us - but man how much bad luck have we had?? We’ll take it - one a game from now on please!!
Look we can only hope Spurs can get a result on Thursday. We now have a better chance with two wins on the trot and a good defensive display against Brentford. It is a lot to expect but if any team can cause an upset, it is Spurs. As Shearer said confidence is a big thing. COYS !!
Enjoy hearing your take on it. Tottenhams best performance all season and Spence must be nailed on for a first 11, mind you what I’ve seen of Postacoglue he will probably drop Spence for Werner
Funny the narrative about “not many teams have shut Brentford out” Liverpool beat them 0-2 away, so did Forest, Arsenal beat them 1-3 away. The top teams have
Alan is spot on. The fact that it was a clean sheet is a bonus. The youngsters are coming along nicely.

A clean sheet again will do on Thursday!

I believe that Werner is injured at the moment. Don’t give up your day job. COYS 😊

Out of 20 teams. That still counts as not a lot.
So we're also top team?😅😅
@@Taecoconut live over highbury way do you. brentford top scoreres at home this season 29 goals i believe.
@@terencemartin3649 no I don’t. Just someone who states facts ☺️ mathematically it still counts as not a lot… fact
I believe he was referring to the clean sheet, if you care to listen properly. Brentford have rarely failed to score at home this season I believe.
Brilliant? Away at Brentford? The usual over reaction, good or bad. They were ok, they got a very good result, but brilliant? Come off it
It was brilliant considering they were putting out Son + kids. Brentford is not an easy place to go to.
Spurs didn’t have a centre back on the pitch. It was a brilliant win.
I said it was a very good result, a good win, but that was not a brilliant performance very likely for the reasons you stated
Spurs are on there way to wembley😁
