I'm convinced Super 7 will never address their loose joint issues until people get tired of it and stop buying their stuff. Motu had these issues, Ren and Stimpy had these issues, Toxie had these issues, Thundercats, the list just goes on and on.
I canceled 99% of my super 7 tmnt preorders because of this... I grabbed slash and leatherhead from bbts but canceled all other orders for now, until I see reviews of them at least...
I use Kiki Loose Joint fix to tighten any loose joints on my figures. It works great. This is what I'll used if my Krang comes with loose joints. I have a feeling that this will be a universal problem just like some of the other Super7 figures like that original Toxie with the loose bicep swivel. Anyhow, the bubble walker and both sculpts look amazing.
I've seen that mentioned a few times elsewhere and it just seems like over priced floor polish in a small squeeze bottle. It was suggested to me to just get some water soluble floor polish and some syringes with small tips and you'll be set for years.
It's because of those joints I've avoided this line from the start. I got S7 Ren & Stimpy and they are super flimsy too. Their figures cost too much for this to be such a consistent issue. It really is a major bummer because all the figures look great. My only other complaint is their boxes are TOO BIG.
At the very least I'm glad Dan is willing to call out the poor quality he's experiencing. Not all toy reviewers who have a relationship with toy companies are willing to do that (looking at you, Shartimus)
I don't understand why Super7 can't get their joints figured out and fixed. This isn't a new issue, and it's hit all the Ultimates figures in some fashion, but moreso the TMNT stuff. It's practically the main line pulling in cash for them, but this is inexcusable. If the figure can't stay standing, why bother? I had a similar issue with my Prince John, the ankles were too loose and he'd fall right over. SO frustrating.
At that price we shouldn't have to do repairs. Honestly after your samurai Leo review I think I'm done. I love tmnt but super 7 doesn't deserve a dime if this is how they are going to ship out stuff we have waited so long to get.
Funny how none of the toy reviewers who talk to Super7 on a regular basis never confront them with this issue. Dan, you're gonna have to cut a promo on Brian about this. This loose joint issue just can't keep happening. I canceled my Sewer Samurai Leo. He was the only one in this wave I ordered. I did keep my Slash order from the other wave though and I haven't canceled Ace Duck (yet). That's another thing: The sporadic releases. Why are 2 waves shipping at almost the same time? It's just stupid all around.
I'm glad you mentioned, "especially when they're $55". I'm way more willing to fix something if it's 10 bucks (that's why I buy a lot of McFarlane stuff on clearance), than I am if it's $55. I agree completely that you shouldn't need to fix stuff out of box, but my willingness to do so is inversely proportionate to the cost.
Wish I could afford these, but I had to settle for the Playmates re-issues! Although, if they had put these on vintage-styled cards, it would be very, very hard for me to not bite considering I am a MOC collector!
Disappointed with the weak joints. Sure, I can try to fix it with fixer. But these are not cheap toys. If they are going to charge premium pricing than they shouldn't send out product that's this floppy.
Great review! Thank you! I had this figure back in the day, and I'd love to get this version, but at the moment, I can only spare the budget for one per wave, and Leatherhead's my guy.
My wave 6 Slash is already processing at BBTS, so I'll be done with this line at that point. I had ordered 2 of the S7 Mouser sets, but cancelled them right before they came in stock at BBTS after seeing another review of Krang and his loose legs. I don't need 10 Mousers that can't stand up, and I wasn't willing to take the risk at the price being charged. If they end up being OK, I'll keep an eye out for some sales later to grab a set.
Wow, all those loose joints makes it feels more like a ragdoll than an action figure... :/ I must be lucky with my Super7 TMNT figures though. I never had major probles with loose joints, except on Metalhead's thighs (which I fixed with a drop of super glue and moved the joints until the glue dries). However I faced a few stuck joints on other figures, mostly on the Foot Soldier's elbows.
Quick, get the joint tighteners! Usually stuff like super glue, clear nail polish or some custom mixtures. Still annoying when you have to do that to a brand new figure though. Other than that, it’s a great looking figure. I’m loving these updated looking TMNT figures.
This Krang is spectacular in design and details, it's a shame that its joints are so loose, they could have solved that problem, well I'll see how I fix it when I have it in my tmnt S7 collection, greetings 👏🏻🇦🇷
I just got myUltimate Krang this week. So far No problems with mine In Aticulation. Mine must be a later one. I can pose him in many different ways now. It might have been your copy which be a bummer.Maybe was a earlier copy you got. Yes I am loving my Krang.
reall good review. it is a shame the legs are so floppy . but I can totally see how the originals design would probably been just as problematic had they added those same joints. that said super7 could of at least tried to reinforce them . I still hope we get a Robotbody Krang as a mega figure but I dunno if that scale would be even possible considering how big Krang himself is without the walker
The chair looks great. Such a shame that once again the loose joints wreck the whole thing... I had this one as a kid, and I was tempted to pick it up. But not after hearing of the joint issues
Got this figure for £20 (Waves 5 and 6 are £20 in B&M stores, rather than their usual £50 elsewhere... and new waves are £70+ in other stores too) and it still feels like a rip off due to just how damn floppy the walker is. Not just the toes but the hip joints are extremely loose too. I'm gonna have to try using some polish in the joints. If I'd paid £50 for this figure I'd have been more angry cos that is unacceptable. But even at £20 it feels kinda crappy. But yeah I'll try fix it.
Hah, i'm here squirting kiki's fix loose joints juice into the knees and ankle joints of one of these figures as I watch your video. I feel confident it will fix the issue as it usually does, but we sure shouldn't have to work on our $50 figures just so they can stand.
This is really disappointing. Krang's an essential character too, so if you're collecting these you feel like you have to have him. Super7 should just make statues instead. They have great looking sculpts, but they do not know how to work in articulation.
Why does Super7 always do a half assed job with the joints? So many loose joints despite the premium prices these are going for. I am done with Super7 honestly
They copied the old toy too much with the collapsing legs. Mine always needs to support his legs with his gun. You shouldn't have to fix it but some clear nail polish in the joints will probably work. I'd almost rather have them too tight than so tight they snap.
This is hands down my BIGGEST GRIPE with Super7. DEAL WITH THE LOOSE JOINTS. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE USING JOINT GLUE TO FIX $55 FIGURES. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS GUYS BECAUSE THIS IS ACROSS ALL YOUR BRANDS. IF NOT, LOWER THE PRICE TO $30 A FIGURE. OR LOSE CUSTOMERS.
come on ... this is $55??? this is a $30 value at most. I love the concept of the Super7 line - I'm already in 10 figures into the TMNT line at this point but I'm really not sure about this one.
It looks great. If the joints were stiff and ratcheted then it would be perfect. We should also have a plub to attach the Krangs to the little tripod. I wouldn't want to just balance Krong on it.
Was originally thinking ''Wow, imagine STILL supporting Super7 after so many figures with poor articulation but then I remember Dan is in the pockets of all the companies and gets his stuff for free
I'm convinced Super 7 will never address their loose joint issues until people get tired of it and stop buying their stuff. Motu had these issues, Ren and Stimpy had these issues, Toxie had these issues, Thundercats, the list just goes on and on.
They won't address it but they'll sure announce the next pre-order for something 😒
I did stop buying in the end. I had too many disappointing figures. Grune from Thundercats was the one that finally broke me!
I canceled 99% of my super 7 tmnt preorders because of this... I grabbed slash and leatherhead from bbts but canceled all other orders for now, until I see reviews of them at least...
Next time Pixel Dan interviews Brian Flynn from Super7, he needs to grill him about the loose joints in all the Ultimate figures.
That's what I just said but he's too buddy-buddy with him to say anything.
@@kingmarkseven17 agreed. Shark might do it, but I doubt that will ever happen again.
I use Kiki Loose Joint fix to tighten any loose joints on my figures. It works great. This is what I'll used if my Krang comes with loose joints. Shouldn't have to use up a whole bottle of KIKI on just one line. They need to fix this problem already.
It's because of those joints I've avoided this line from the start. I got S7 Ren & Stimpy and they are super flimsy too. Their figures cost too much for this to be such a consistent issue. It's hard to even call what he does a review, he does showcases.
Sharty Shartamissimo!
I don't understand why Super7 can't get their joints figured out and fixed. This isn't a new issue, and it's hit all the Ultimates figures in some fashion, but moreso the TMNT stuff. I had a similar issue with my Prince John, the ankles were too loose and he'd fall right over. SO frustrating.
Well the Walker has loose joints, but at least Krang himself doesn't have loose hips.
After a long time waiting this is the final product? Had to cancel my Pre order after seeing this, thank you PD for saving me $$$.
At that price we shouldn't have to do repairs. Honestly after your samurai Leo review I think I'm done. I love tmnt but super 7 doesn't deserve a dime if this is how they are going to ship out stuff we have waited so long to get.
Krang's little stroller! How cute!
Those hands appear to be the SDCC Ultimates Cobra BAT hands. Clever reuse of the mold.

I thought I was upset over the Samurai Leo paint apps being so cheap and ugly, but this figures QC issues really upset me.
I just can’t believe the price of this. 2 little pink balls with shiny cheap plastic, and a walker that can’t stand, all for $55 😂
Great review! Thank you! I had this figure back in the day, and I'd love to get this version, but at the moment, I can only spare the budget for one per wave, and Leatherhead's my guy.
I can see Brian from Super 7 in the shower crying, gripping the curtain yelling, "P Danny, why!?!"
🤣🤣🤣
Don't know if Super 7 screwed up or not but was charged by BBTS for Wave 5 and SLASH from Wave 6.
Yeah me too
It’s says it’s in stock
My wave 6 Slash is already processing at BBTS, so I'll be done with this line at that point. slash was done well IMO... I grabbed him and leather head because they were in stock, but canceled all others as well.
Wow, all those loose joints makes it feels more like a ragdoll than an action figure... :/
I must be lucky with my Super7 TMNT figures though. I never had major probles with loose joints, except on Metalhead's thighs (which I fixed with a drop of super glue and moved the joints until the glue dries). Hi Dan,
Did you stop collecting MotU Origins? I miss your vidos from the newest figures from the line, even Kol-Darr and Wun-dar.
Quick, get the joint tighteners! Usually stuff like super glue, clear nail polish or some custom mixtures. Still annoying when you have to do that to a brand new figure though.
Other than that, it’s a great looking figure. I’m loving these updated looking TMNT figures.

Thank you for bringing attention to the loose joints. Maybe we can get a Reddit thread going on this? It’s pretty ridiculous.
they have to know by now... It's all over and it is mentioned is a lot of reviews, especially the 4 turtles.
I had the original when I was a kid. This is a cool update
hopefully applying some acryllic paint to the ball joints can tighten them up.... but then that means being able to pop them out/in
freaken Krang Man
Now we just need the android body Krang.
Looseness returns!!😱😱 Why I hated some the Motu Classics!
Definitely not worthy for $60. Super 7 prices are getting pretty stupid. Thankfully Neca is doing a better job.
reall good review. it is a shame the legs are so floppy . but I can totally see how the originals design would probably been just as problematic had they added those same joints. that said super7 could of at least tried to reinforce them . I still hope we get a Robotbody Krang as a mega figure but I dunno if that scale would be even possible considering how big Krang himself is without the walker
The walker that cannot stand, oh the irony!
The joints needed a slight ratchet joint. Really unfortunate.
Felt like it's been a while since I watched you review a Ninja Turtles toy Dan
The chair looks great. Such a shame that once again the loose joints wreck the whole thing... I had this one as a kid, and I was tempted to pick it up. But not after hearing of the joint issues
Honestly I can't name a new action figure I didn't have to use the Kiki Loose joint to fix. It works like a charm.
The arms pop out and can be switched and mixed and matched. Mine stands great. My gun is warped and need to heat that up.
I use Elmer's school paste to tighten any loose joints on muh 55 dollar premium quality Super7 adult collectable!
Got this figure for £20 (Waves 5 and 6 are £20 in B&M stores, rather than their usual £50 elsewhere... and new waves are £70+ in other stores too) and it still feels like a rip off due to just how damn floppy the walker is. Good thing most of us aren't flopping it around to deliberately tip it over
That is a real shame about the loose joints! Otherwise, like you said, awesome-looking figure!
Pixel Dan that's a awesome Crane toy
This is really disappointing. Krang's an essential character too, so if you're collecting these you feel like you have to have him. Super7 should just make statues instead. They have great looking sculpts, but they do not know how to work in articulation.
Beautiful line.. 👍🏻
@super7 doesn’t give a crap. Canceled my PO.
Will we get a Krang Android body/robot version?
How does the size of Super7 Krang compare to NECA'S? Would be interesting if they can be interchanged.
super 7 is likely far too large to interchange in neca stuff.
Super 7 tight those joints
Anyone knows where to buy these???
I had wave 1&2 and sold them . They aren't that impressive anymore. I love to watch the reviews. I'm glad I stopped collecting them though.
I feel the Krang themselves could have had a bit more paint on them to make them a little more disgusting.

Loose joints? Seriously, NECA has the so tight they snap off deal ... you can't win
I’m super tempted this cancel my pre order and hope for an android body version. This is super disappointing.
Super7 owes me $20 for the loose joints. Otherwise, I feel ripped off!!!!!
OK, enough with SubPar7 reviews, and back to MOTU please Dan!! 🙏
come on ... this is $55??? this is a $30 value at most. I love the concept of the Super7 line - I'm already in 10 figures into the TMNT line at this point but I'm really not sure about this one.
most of their figures are about 2x what they should be.
Epic
....easy pass for me. My money is on Neca!
It looks great. If the joints were stiff and ratcheted then it would be perfect. We should also have a plub to attach the Krangs to the little tripod. I wouldn't want to just balance Krong on it.
Sheesh! These keep getting worse.
Brian Flynn not going to give you interviews anymore for bashing his products 😂
💙👍
Was originally thinking ''Wow, imagine STILL supporting Super7 after so many figures with poor articulation but then I remember Dan is in the pockets of all the companies and gets his stuff for free
Ooof. What a disappointment
Junk toys super 7 is is way overpriced playmates toys
