Beautiful song! Love seeing Donald Fagen on the piano!
Simply fabulous!
Forever love Boz Scaggs!
Saw them in Hawaii in a 2,100 seat concert hall. 16th row 5 seats left of center. Came to see Donald Fagen but everyone
Blew me away . I can not stress enough see them if you can . Even the background singers were so great I would
Pay to see them in concert . Only word Amazing.
You missed Donald Fagan! 50 yo this month I met Mike Mcdonald and Donald Fagan, Steely Dan, at a gig in LA. My HS friend, Jeff Porcaro, was hired to play drums with Steely Dan, our favorite band for God sake! What a couple of nights. What a time to still be alive with these memories.
The album version of Miss Sun features Toto, all of them, Steve Porcaro, Jeff Porcaro, Paich, Lukather and Hungate. Except for Hungate, all my classmates too.
Boz Skaggs ia one of my favorite singers. Iz agree he is smooth! I enjoy your reactions. Also like your accent. Good Job! 🎶🎵👩🦳🌟😀💯
Boz always seems to have the best back up singers!

Happy Birthday, Boz Scaggs!
80 yrs old today and still as relevant as ever. I am lucky to be alive in your lifetime. Thank you for the music.
Back up singer Miss Monet! This woman can sing and really added to this song. She has backed up Michael McDonald, Boz Scaggs, Huey Lewis and the news, and was a contestant on last year‘s The Voice. Although this song is awesome she really makes it when she flirts with Boz
This is fabulous!
You don't love Steely Dan Donald Fagen on the piano? Boz Scaggs is already one of the smoothest, but that duo is the cherry on top!
Nice job ! I like watching your videos, you get it !
Thank You...Gotta love the wah- wah guitar solo, I've never really heard Boz do a guitar solo, great stuff!!
This is a great song and what a cast of amazing singers. Thank you John and Harri.
DONALD FAGEN!!! You forgot to mention the great DF from Steely Dan. Its 3 up there. Some of us are forever Steely Dan devotees, please. Sure always love Boz. Michael McDonald also.
That was impeccable!!!!!
The most descriptive term for this song is just cool. Everything about it is perfection.
Excellent live show. We saw them in Cleveland.
I’ve never seen him 7 times in and around Cleveland. I’d see him 100 more times if it were possible.
Off topic, have you ever seen Michael Stanley?
Just beautifull
Ms Monet signing the backup solo on Miss Sun, she toured with Boz for many years and was missed when she went off on her own. Boz sounds fantastic as do Donald and Michael.
Remember the Boz Scaggs live song you reacted to, Look What You've Done to Me? At the end of the song his background singers sang some beautiful high notes. Well, Ms. Monét, who hit the really high notes, is this same singer with Boz doing this version of Miss Sun live 20 years later.
Cool
this was an amazing show that was on PBS years ago on a Saturday
That's Donald Fagan on piano.
Michael McDonald on Rhodes like he said though. Wish they did another run of shows
There are Silk Degrees in Boz Scaggs' voice. ❤
Aren't these three guys legends? Boz Scaggs, Donald Fagen and Michael McDonald are old school from the 70s and 80s 😎🎸
HarriBest really is the best! I totally love your reactions!
Yes! He is the very best!
Hey Harri.....How'd you miss the great Donald Fagen of Steely Dan on piano!
Saw Boz last year. He still has the incredibly smooth voice he had way back in the 70s. Such an amazing performer. Throw in Donald and Michael and sprinkle with Monet and you’ve got something special! If you’re not bouncing and tapping your feet you’d better check your pulse!
Don't forget Donald Fagen on piano.
I am late to your channel. I like listening to the music you choose. You put your emotions in the music and for that reason I am choosing “The long and winding road” The Beatles.
The call and response piece was tremendous.
In this unique show of "the Dukes of september" they got solo hits of Bozz Scaggs, Steely Dan (Donald Fagan) and Michael McDonalds solo stuff. Awesome to listen and they play togther, a great song called "Who's That Lady" /Isley Bros. fame......so it is worth to listen all that stuff they performed.
Hi, Harri. You might be interested to know this could have been a Toto song. The band's keyboard maestro David Paich wrote this tune and Boz loved it and wanted to record it himself.
This performance was in NYC at Lincoln Center. It was recorded by Channel 13, the NYC public television station. They had a fund drive where donating $100 got you two tickets to this show. It was a supreme experience.
Masterclass!!
This is a fave video because the amazing back up singers! Wait for it! 🎶💙
❤❤😂😢😮😅😊😊🎉🎉so smooth
John - I have seen this Dukes of September performance before, but I could have it play all day. What a trio of greats; Boz Scaggs, Donald Fagen, and Michael McDonald. Terrific submission and review.
Donald Fagan on the piano also!!!
Love this...thank you❤I really needed this!
Check out older Boz song 'Loan Me A dime'.
This is wonderful. What a collection of talent on that stage. Great choice and commentary from Harri. Thanks John 🌺✌️
Don’t forget Donald Fagen.
This lineup recorded an album in the 90’s called New York rock and soul review. There were several additional guest on the recording as well(Phoebe Snow, Charles Brown and a couple of the Rascals). The Dukes of September was the next incarnation of this revue. Miss Sun is a Boz tune.
Donald Fagen of Steely Dan on piano- check them all out here going SD’s Kid Charlemagne!
McDonald is on electric keys.
Isn’t Boz amazing?
Dukes, sounds like nukes close to dues.. ♠Mr.G..
👏👍
Superior.
These three are giants in music. They put out so many songs of my youth. To have them together is amazing. They haven't lost a step.
Harri !! React to "Love Will Follow" Kenny Loggins & Shanice live from the Redwoods !!
Song was written by Toto
This is a Toto song - David Paich
