Elite Earthworks LLC it doesn’t just seem that way it is that way LOL. Believe me I hate it too but we try not to make so much loose dirt because it’s more to compact back in then. Thanks for watching Brandon
Nice job seeing you guys putting new 4 inch plastic in makes me jealous. I have been stuck finding and repairing old clay tile ducting and fishing ropes through them for the past month that way they can get a new fiber in. I could use a plastic conduit job for a change lol.
@@fulltiltgrading8366 yes sir unfortunately a lot of our work is in the cities.. We do a a lot of road jobs like relocating duct bank systems and stuff like that. Once I do get a nice big trenching or drill out in the country I'm happy man.
Full Tilt Grading,,starting up Friday May 1st, Indian Vally Country Club. Season # 43 for this old boy all those years at Becthels. Last season for Forman John. He’s ready to put his shovel away for good. I believe he put in 46 seasons there. It goes by fast.
Joe Weisbach That’s good to hear Joe that you’re getting back to work. It’s going to hurt losing John he is one of the best. There is a lot of experience and talent in that company. 👍🏻
Yeah that was a nice one. We have actually been using our Milwaukee cordless blower to blow in the lines lately. We just drilled a 3/8 hole in the tube and feed our string through there to the bag. Thanks for watching Joe 👍🏻
We do most of our trenching with a 12” to cut down on loose material that has to be recompacted and a 48” bucket for grading. Thanks for watching John 👍🏻
Thanks for the info - quick question. I live in New England and am planning on renting this exact trencher to do a water line from our home to the detached garage about 100ft away. It has to be below the frost line here and that’s about 4ft. Will this have no trouble trenching that deep? Also it’s the beginning of winter here I’m debating on getting the jack hammer attachment for it since the ground is a bit frozen already. Do you think this mini excavator would have no issue digging some frozen grass and dirt in a backyard right now ? Thanks for any help it’s much appreciated
@@johnboswald6049 all machines have trouble digging frost because it’s difficult to penetrate. I personally like the ripper tooth attachment for my machine in frost because I put all the strength on one tooth. I like to scratch a line all the way through the frost on either side of the trench I want to make and then pop the middle out. I have done the same thing with a hammer attachment. You basically just hammer a bunch of holes in a straight line on either side of your trench then break the middle out. Make sure you start wide enough at the top or you will not be able to do anything once you get to the depth you want. Your trench will come down to a point. Another thing never take the snow off of the ground until you are ready to dig your trench. Snow is your best insulator. Good luck John I hope this helps
Chris Francis i’m sure there’s one in there somewhere but we try and do all of our digging with the machine. Only time A shovel gets used did you clean off a buried pipe. Thanks for watching next time Ed shovels and he’s not against it we will try and get it on video 👍🏻
All right. It’s time guys. Next time you get a gravy job like this. I want to see your best young, up and coming green horn. Take us thru and manage the entire job. I mean EVERY detail. Your the boss hotshot. Show us all how good you are. Unless you or anyone else can get hurt, or lots of revenue could get lost. Your the boss. Make sure the trucks are gassed up. Pick the equipment to use. Find the locations. Absolutely, your the boss. No input from the actual boss. Then, report back with your hardest things to overcome. It’s time to wake up. Take the bull by the horns. I’ll never forget my first time. I want to see total roll reversal. And better yet, have the owner use the camera. And have the owner lean on the shovel. And not know what to do. And not think ahead. And have you make every single decision. You can do it, will see what your made of. See if your a leader or someone who barks orders all day and thinks everyone around you is an idiot. You guys look like you have a tight crew. Now this will be an awesome video to put out
Paul Harvey Where ya been Paul? We can definitely do that. I actually dug about 100 feet of that trench, I’m just camera shy on the machine haha. And I have to be honest I’m involved in about every aspect of the business. Neither of us are the boss we’re a team. We both have our strong points and we use them to make the most of every job.
Nice work! I hate when I have to use the 12” bucket just seems to take forever

Full Tilt Grading that’s a good point. 👍🏻
I have always wanted to build a larger 12" that has twice the capacity.
Eric Rice I think about it every day lol

atcman5115 working in the country always puts a smile on my face! 😁
Full tilt,,,,always a perfect job. No corners cut, 100% great finish grading job. Only thing smoother would’ve been me and the Cat 12 G Grader.
Joe Weisbach yes I would have to agree! This would be the perfect site for the 12G. You guys back to work yet?

@@fulltiltgrading8366 o cool i thought it was some fancy expensive machine not a leaf blower lol
I hope you didn't bury that water bottle you are showing at the end I think it was at 4:39
Brad Navratil If I saw it it came out of the trench. I don’t like to bury anything that isn’t supposed to be in the ground. Thanks for watching
What size bucket are you guys using on that?
