- ‘Social’ media has been presented as the modern solution - sold to us as a cyber hack of connection. While it certainly has its uses, it allows for a connection that occurs only within the mental arena, while our physical selves remain alone in our living rooms.
Rediscovering our connection to humanity means moving beyond the illusion of ‘social’ media, where connections often feel shallow and confined to screens. The true work of meaningful connection is done in shared spaces, where more than words are connecting us - creating a space where true intimacy can occur - even if that means just touching an arm, holding a hand or sitting together saying nothing at all.
So, instead of just liking, sharing, or commenting online, let's pick up the phone and make plans to meet face-to-face. Look into someone's eyes, connect with their soul, and start consciously creating meaningful connections in our lives. It is in this way that we will look around one day and realise that we are no longer alone.

Kevin. I get yr pain and i experience the same pain and suffering as i feel i can not relate to people around me. They apparently consider me Crazy and they seem to think our world is just as it is supposed to be i want to be me , but hate feeling lonely and seperate ❤❤😊.😢
Yeah I feel you as you feel me. Like they say, we’re not alone or as unique
in our suffering as we sometimes think. Some people do understand and others feel the same vibes and we just need to be reminded of that. Thank you for reminding me am not all alone

When i’m watching these videos it makes me so emotional. I always cry, because I feel understood by these people and their stories. There are a lot of lost birds out there, those of us without community or people to belong to. There's a word in Cymry (Welsh), hyareth, meaning a place you long for but have never been to or even know where it is. That's been my life.
Some of us, like myself, are loners and content most of the time to walk alone. Yet we still need connections along the path from time to time.

I looked this up. It's actually spelled, "hiraeth". It says a Welsh word that is like missing home and like a feeling of grief, like something has been lost.

This was filmed in America, and we have since returned home to South Africa - so unfortunately it's not so easy to return to film with her again. given my life experiences (the gauntlet of to many experiences to share here now) I gave my self a double doctorate in life 2 decades ago, only to experience even more of life's trauma over these past 2 decades now (perhaps a third is due?)..... having the ability to remain positive, while moving forward (toward our ultimate, eventual destination) allows the ability to reflect while understanding the past, present, and future. ups, downs, and all arounds are simply experiences of this consciousness, none of which can be conquered, but simply experienced. all of our thought produces our individual directions in life, perpetuating our experiences into memories and projections into our future. enjoy this life in every way, because one day, the morning will be the dawn of your last day......
