      LOL don't insult Heyman by comparing him to that crybaby. Listen to Heyman, he can sell "ice to the eskimos", his presence, his voice, the man can read a phonebook and he could still hold our attention. On the other side all the crybaby Punk did was crying and complaining "boo hoo Triple H doesn't like me blah blah blah I want to be in the WrestleMania main event blah blah blah fuck this I'm going home blah blah blah". Comparing Punk to Heyman is like comparing that crying comedian who made the video "Leave Britney Alone" to Al Pacino

  • @Jak1415
    @Jak1415 8 лет назад +38

    I will go as far as to say, simply put, Paul Heyman is THE best on the Mic in terms of everything that the WWE has ever seen.
    Look at how in this video alone he has an entire audience completely in his grasp.
    That faithful night in Chicago, when people wouldn't shut up about CM punk, who did they send out, Paul Heyman. Within minutes of coming out, everyone had completely forgotten about Punk and where hanging on every word he said, in a completely unscripted promo too, the man is just awesome.
    Ok, I may be a slight Paul Heyman mark but you can't really question this.
    ECW was awesome and was his own creation, if I could have one thing it would be this guy running WWE, because he has one of the best minds for the business.
    There really isn't anyone better at doing what he does.

      @IAmNeomic 8 лет назад +20

      There's tons of live footage on RUclips from inside the building, it didn't flash 22-0 at all. That's just some kid's imagination. It's been confirmed by several people (Bryan Alvarez, Dave Melzer, Wade Keller, etc.) that they decided an hour before match time that Taker was losing, and only a very small handful of people were told including those in the production truck, so they could make the 21-1 graphic. The refs are not told who's winning ever, unless they NEED to know, because Vince wants them to call it like a shoot. But even still, somehow the finish leaked as people who bet on WWE got word and within the final minutes of betting, Lesnar's odds overtook Taker by a very wide margin.

      Dreaming here, but imagine they turn Roman heel, shut him up like he did best when he was in the shield, make him a Paul Heyman guy, teach the dog some new tricks and moves, and there you have it. It's a simple recipe for success, it's just WWE don't want to focus anymore on the product, rather just on sales and profit. And people, being gullible, would continuously eat the shit that WWE spews, which makes them even happier.
      And I agree, P.H. is one of the best on the mic.

    my take on the takers streak is this: Taker knew around the time that he went to UFC to watch and confront lesnar that his streak needed to be broken soon, so he went there and when he asked him "do u wanna do it?" he was referring not to them fighting but he was asking lesnar if he wanted to be the one to break the streak. Taker i think had already selected lesnar to be the man to do it. He wanted it to be broken by a legit fighter.

    A great theory put up by Heyman, and he could sell Bacon to a Veggie! But it's obvious he's fucking with the crowd! lol Cos, if you think about it, Paul said that, maybe, Lesnar decided to injure Taker and take the win without permission, Taker is Vince's baby! He is Vince's most successful Wrestling character creation, perhaps THE most successful in wrestling history! There is NO WAY Vince would let Lesnar get away with that, he would have fired him the next day, why? Because;
    1)He would have done the most unprofessional thing a wrestler could do by going off-script.
    2)Vince could NEVER trust him again in a match as he would NEVER know if Lesnar would change things to his way during any other match OR injure another of his superstars, which would lose him money.
    3) He wouldn't lose money from getting rid of Lesnar, he just wouldn't be capitalising on it, WWE would still make lots of money, just without all that extra from Lesnar merch sales.
    It makes more sense that, Undertaker agreed to lose the streak after Vince convinced him it was for a major purpose. In this case, building up Brock so that he could be taken down by Roman as a means of building WWE's future face of the company. And since he made that promise with Taker, it is GONNA happen! That excuse sounds more plausible than what Heyman said, but Heyman did an awesome job in making it sound believable!!

      spot on. plus Lesnar doesnt care about anything but his paycheck. hes proved it many times, especially when he put over eddie. he has no love for wrestling or mma, they just make him rich. He's even said it in interviews and promos, he doesnt give a damn about what fans think, he couldnt care less whether he goes over or not.

    • @2Good2BeTrue45
      @2Good2BeTrue45 8 лет назад

      If Brock beats the streak, Vince has to capitalize on that regardless of unprofessional-ism. Brock Lesnar went back to the UFC by beating Vince in an arm wrestling contest and called him "old man" and said "we can do this the easy way or the hard way".
      We have no idea how Vince trusts wrestlers or his criteria for establishing trust. You dont even know the man personally to assume how he thinks of anything. He would lose money from getting rid of Lesnar as he was a UFC world champ, wwe champion in his younger years and just defeated the streak at Wrestlemania 30. Losing all of that means losing money, whether you like it or not.

    • @mpm1995
      @mpm1995 8 лет назад

      2Good2BeTrue45
      Just read any of Chris Jerichos' books and you will find out what kind of man Vince is, Chris doesn't cover anything up anything either! But form his books, you learn that Vince HAS to trust his wrestlers before putting them in situations such as pushes and title matches, which only makes sense as Vince has been burned by some of his talent before (Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Hulk Hogan ect.). Plus, if he couldn't trust Lesnar to NOT injure a superstar during a match then that would lose Vince money.
      Also, he would NOT have LOST money by firing Lesnar after Mania 30 (providing what Heyman said was true, which it most likely isn't) because of the reasons I have already stated, Vince would certainly LOSE money from having Brock go out and injure other wrestlers, by either losing merch sales from them not being there, house show sales from them not being on the card, and potentially lawsuits from the wrestlers who could sue WWE for putting them in a situation where they KNEW Lesnar could try to injure them intentionally. Plus his trust with one of his most beloved wrestlers would be forever broken, and there is plenty of material out there to tell you that Vince would do ANYTHING to maintain trust and friendship with Taker. LOSING money would be Vince keeping Brock on AFTER he beat Taker and NOT capitalising, if you get rid of Brock after Mania that isn't LOSING money as you no longer have the potential to GAIN any money at that point and Vince and co couldn't have known how much money Brock could have brought them and neither would anyone else.

    I'd like to think The Undertaker was originally going to win the match, but once he suffered a concussion, they changed the finish on the fly. Not only did Chad Patton act like he fu**ed up by immediately waving his arms up in the air as soon as he made the three count, but Lesnar broke character by winking at the injured Undertaker afterwards.

    Unfortunately taker stated for years he wanted to lose the streak, he also asked lesnar on camera if he wanted to do it after he lost to valasquez. Not sure why he had such a hard on to lose what made him such a draw. He sucks now.

    • @petaaaa5831

      Taker wanted to lose correct, but Vince would have never allowed it, I think they both collaborated against Vince's wishes, knowing they'd be the only two to get away with it. Undertaker might of been suspended for a year because of it.

    Undertaker was supposed to lose. Let's face it, Vince wouldn't give two fucks if everyone was paying attention to Brock, if he purposefully changed the outcome during the match, he'd be fired as soon as he got backstage. Even if Vince didn't fire him, all Vince would have to do is let it slip what Brock had done, and the guy would be hated backstage. Hated because when he was young WWE gave him the Reigns treatment, being the guy, and left, then a few years after he came back, he decided to go into the business for himself. I applaud Heyman's ability to get crowds on the edge of their seats, but we all know Vince is a crazy fucker who wouldn't hesitate firing Brock if he had done such a thing.

  • @charvelgtrs
    @charvelgtrs 8 лет назад

    Vince wanted it, Undertaker didn't but agreed. Brock does have respect for Undertaker and probably was hesitant to take that away from him, but was told by Undertaker to do it. Also, it helps the fact that Brock is the only guy who could legitimately win the streak, so in Undertaker's mind if anyone was going to beat the streak it had to be Brock.
    In the end it just shows how loyal and selfless Undertaker is to business.
    Also, watch the video of Undertaker at UFC 121 asking Brock, "Do you want to do it?"

    The referee would have been told the outcome before the match. He would have never counted to 3, the bell would never have been rung, the titration would never have said 21-1, and the cameras would never had been in the perfect positions to capture the shocked faces of the crowd that night. I think Paul is taking shit
