Both colours are stunning and I love the pop of yellow and green. So floaty and delicate. Really enjoy this piece. Thank you also for showing your dry piece.
Well, I am surprised! Hehehe When I heard it was one painting with two separate colour palettes, I thought “surely that can’t look good”… and “that’s just gonna be weird”… I was definitely wrong! It looked so good when it was done Kanella! I’m pretty sure now that, You… can make most anything look good!! LOL I’m slowly getting thru all your older videos (whilst still watching your new ones), and it is just awesome watching you evolve and create a pouring technique that is distinctly your own… using a little less white to blow over your colours and noticing your first moves towards the ‘Petal up, then Petal down’ that you do now. As a newbie to pouring… and a Dutch pour addict… I’ve actually gone in the opposite direction to you! When I started, I started by doing mine the way you do yours today and I really struggled to get anything I liked… but going thru your old videos, I’ve actually started implementing some of your older techniques and I’m actually doing better pours!! And, although I will strive to pour the way you do now, eventually, I really think it’s helping me by following a similar path… I don’t know, it is hard to explain… it’s sort of like I’m getting more of an understanding of how the paint works by doing it this way!! 🤷♀️ I’m so sorry, I’ve raved on a here a but… I just wanted you to know just how much you have helped me and how much I appreciate all the time and effort you put into every video! I’m having so much fun watching you and experimenting in my own studio! Thank you Kanella… you’re a real gem!! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
What a lovely video Kanella, it's very real you have a clear and honest way of presenting stuff. Those things matter. Good luck with combining the new job with the channel, with the upcoming exhibition. Stay connected Kanella
Hi Kanella! Its 4:23AM here in Alaska! I can't sleep so I decided to watch my favorite Artist! That is like over the top Gorgeous! I will for sure try that one!! Beautiful!
Another lovely piece Kanella. The colours are so vibrant and gorgeous and yes I would also love to see how you varnish your work.Right now I just end up with a big fat mess!!the brush strokes, the cracking etc etc etc. Hugs to my fav you tube doggie. He must be sleeping. lol Bye and have a Happy.
Hi kanella I’ve been painting for about a year now and I could never do a Dutch pour because my paints were not the right consistency. I solved that problem by pouring a little bit of paint on a small canvas and blowing it with my mouth. If it moves then it’s the right mix. If not I added more water until I got it to move. That solved my issue. Feel free to share this with your audience. It really does work. Lots of love from Michigan.
Happy Thanksgiving fellow Canadian. I love this pour. The mix of colours side to side is awesome. I can only begin to imagine the colour combos you will come up with. Beautiful Art my friend.
Has anyone here or elsewhere thought about using a soft rubber squirt bottle to blow air in the field of movement that you want to change? It would be easier than trying to do large pieces when you are lacking the ability to do so? I watch all of you often, I can't pick a favorite artist and don't have the room to work in my home. All of the different methods intrigue me. This one on round wood is gorgeous.
Ooh I love love love it!! I knew you would do it great! I tried something similar over the weekend and ended up with one lovely side and one messy side!! I think the yellow through both sides brought it all together. looks great!
You could post a finishing video- contrasting varnish vs resin? I think this could be extra cool with a tiny contrast puddle in the middle! Beautiful job!! 💜💙
I love it and OMG to the pebeo iridescent pour! It is STUNNING. Funny story I am not a girlie girl but I have a lot of friend in the beauty industry and get gifted samples and left overs. One of my friends asked what I was doing so I quickly filmed the tiny dutch pour I was doing at the moment. The reply was ..was that a blow dryer? Me: yep! Him: please tell me that is not a $200 blow dryer!! Me: it was free to me and I do not use it might as well!! Lol
Before you showed the yellow, I "told you" silver. I love the yellow on the blue side but not so much on the purple. I always love the gossamer edge your pieces have. So pretty!
It is beautiful as always! I always smile when you tell us the colors you're using it sounds like the announcing of the winners at the Oscars!!! Your work is fabulous!!!!
I love ❤️ it. I wanted to do a purple one the yellow is so pretty, now I will try this it’s so beautiful. TY so much for your great video’s between you and Molly I have learned so much.
If you turn it the right way the blues look like an alien head and the purples look like her clothes. I also see a cats head in the face of the alien. Very beautiful.
Great idea to choose different colors❣️ I actually like that the purple goes in the blue, and the blue in the purple, so there’s no „border“ in the middle. Love this one... as always☺️🥰 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving☺️🍁☀️🍂
Great idea to do this. Very pretty! Oh just a suggestion about video 63. When you say in it that video, about eyeballing it, insert a written comment on the screen saying now you measure it precisely like all the other paint. I have no idea how but it can be done.
Decopainterandtea you can’t insert words into a video after it’s already been uploaded to RUclips. I would only be able to edit it prior to uploading it. I have put that info in the description of the video. It’s the best I can do.
Wait.....what? Varnish? PLEASE do a video on that, or point me to one where you've already shown it. I see vids where you've demonstrated resin but not varnishing, and I'm struggling-ish. I appreciate you! LOVE this piece.
Beautiful ! How does a yin and yang sound? half black half white ...on the black, white and silver..on the white, black and silver . could surprise you with extra squiggles of 2 the same colour.... and for sure Happy thanksgiving to you and your family..I definitely ate too much but it was worth it....i think...glad I wont be tired of it when Christmas rolls around!
The blending of colors created an amazing painting. I know that acrylic paint pour artists use different types of paint (regular, neon, iridescent, enamel house) in the same pour with no problem. Are there any brands that do not work well with each other?
This is beautiful ...as usual!! Would you consider putting your color selections in the notes? I think you used to and was really helpful as I’m trying to get better at picking and trying colours. Thank you!
I can try my best but it takes a long time to actually do all that... very time consuming and time is something I am very short of... but i will do my best..
Patricia Doiron thanks. It’s just hard cause I then have to go back to the video and watch it, to know what colours I used and by who. LOL That’s why I state the colours in the videos. To make it easier :)
Oh! Wow, I love ❤️ love❤️this so much wow and the round canvas it’s awesome!! And HAPPY HAPPY THANKSGIVING TOO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE ELSE THAT IS CELEBRATING Thanksgiving!!! Great job as always I really really love it !! Lisa USA DOWN SOUTH LOUISIANA!!!
I love how the piece from the other day dried...it's very pretty. You always ask what we think and I hope you want honesty...I feel this round one is doesn't come together. There's the blue/green side and the purple/yellow/brown side. Purple and yellow are beautiful together side by side but when mixed together, they either make brown or gray. Each side on it's own is very pretty, in this case (imho) each doesn't work with the other side.
Really beautiful Kanella! Love it to bits. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Both colours are stunning and I love the pop of yellow and green. So floaty and delicate. Really enjoy this piece. Thank you also for showing your dry piece.
thank you and you are welcome
So pretty and what a great contrasting composition! Agree the blue and orange combo could be striking! The shades of color in the blue were gorgeous!
thanks hun

what a great idea. Love the Fire and Ice idea. Maybe clash of the seasons...
You are amazing! This is gorgeous. You make this look easy and possible....... but you have an incredible talent
Stunning ❤️❤️
thank you
OOOO, the rainbow painting is beautiful!! Thanks for showing the final piece! This one is really pretty as well, especially the blue colors!!
thanks so much
love it. blue & purple are my favourite colours to use also. sometimes I've got to stop myself from using them all the time.
Happy Thanksgiving... Another beautiful pour!
Thank you so much
What a lovely video Kanella, it's very real you have a clear and honest way of presenting stuff. Those things matter. Good luck with combining the new job with the channel, with the upcoming exhibition.
Stay connected Kanella
thanks so much, i appreciate that
Your work reminds me of the petals of fancy irises. This one on the purple side especially! The yellow looks like the stamen. Very lovely!!
thanks so much
Hi Kanella! Its 4:23AM here in Alaska! I can't sleep so I decided to watch my favorite Artist! That is like over the top Gorgeous! I will for sure try that one!! Beautiful!

Gorgeous, my two fav sets of colors
I absolutely love it. Love the round shape and the colors. Gorguse!!!!!!! I would like to see you do a fire and ice one.
i plan on doing one... :)
The colors are great, i love it :). I definitely need to do more dutch videos next time.
You make it look soooooo easy.
I love it! Very different, it’s beautiful!

Thanks Jennifer for the tip, however I have a full video tutorial on how I mix my paints and the ratios for the dutch pour :) (video #63) :)
WOW! It's absolutely stunning once again. I think the fire and ice combo would be awesome to see.
i will do one soon

I LOVE the yellow on the purple side!
Blue is my favorite color but both sides are gorgeous!
Gorgeous! Awesome idea!
Beautiful!
Turned out really cool!

Ooh I love love love it!! I knew you would do it great! I tried something similar over the weekend and ended up with one lovely side and one messy side!! I think the yellow through both sides brought it all together. looks great!

Looks fantastic how about light blue silver purple white on top then gold, and bronze on top off the white.
It is gorgeous 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh my gosh....it's absolutely stunning!!! Wow!!!

@@KanellaCiracoArt Ooh Well it SOUNDED good. lol. Thanks for replying!
Really pretty as always. May I ask if you use the same mixing ratio for both craft paint like Folkart and the tube paints?
thanks so much - I use a bit less water with folk art as its already pretty thin to begin with
Omg, it's so pretty! It reminds me of food coloring being dropped in water! Love it!💕🏜 Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
🤩🤩🤩 beauuuutiful ! Very good idea the 2 combos ! Love the work on this round wood (and not canvas like I said on insta ! 🙃)
hahahah you said canvas! I remember that comment lol

Patricia Doiron thanks. It’s just hard cause I then have to go back to the video and watch it, to know what colours I used and by who. LOL

How about doing black and white on a round. I have a lazy Susan I would like to try that on. Tks. Love all your artwork.
