I find these videos so super interesting. Coming from some what of a rural area watching bike rides through a concrete jungle is so alien to me. I love how there's trails carved through little patches of tree lines and on the sides of roads. I always wondered what it would be like to grow up in the city. How long it would take to familiarize myself and not get lost. It's just asphalt and buildings as far as the eye can see. I feel like you can ride all day and not hit the same road twice. Anyways I love these videos because it's so different and so much more populated then what I'm used to. In the back of my mind I wish I lived in the big city. As a biker I feel like you can never get bored.
Thanks for uploading so much mental healthy content lately!!! I changed the brake pads on my hardtail today. It's already dark now.. but tomorrow I will go for a ride out to the forest right after breakfast! Sundays are the best! Much love
I'm sure you know this, but for anyone that doesn't: a number three spoke wrench (usually the largest one) found on many multitools works great to tighten a presta valve core.
Happy New Year Terry. I enjoy your videos and the various people you've travelled with. Love how in this video, you just hop a bike and take us for a ride in NYC. Look here's a little trail. Just enjoyed this video. It made my weekend. Bless you, and be safe.
I know the past few vids are raw, but they are so good, that when the battery died it reminded me that these are just clips of you riding, like not edited stuff, so if you're feeling these keep it up, and plus they make great filler content in between other more time consuming projects.
Come on out to Higbridge or Staten Island . NYCMTB a quick ride to Staten Island From Prospect park . Come and check out a good 18 mile loop in Wilkes ponds Staten Island and meet the STATEN ISLAND TRAIL RIDERS
Riding the trails in prospect park is illegal. Look I know you guys were being respectful of other park goers and all that, and you went when it was cold and there were few people out. This is a lowkey thing that a few NYCX people do now and then after dark in winter, at the risk of having our bikes confiscated by the police. You'd be doing us a favor if you took this down. Keep it on the down low.
