Enhance shamans got the exact same treatment. We all wanted 2h to be good. They buffed dual wielding instead.
Yeah dude, I feel like enhance and ret get the worst brunt of it when y'all should have gotten the best.
Yeah slapping a ton of armor on the boss is such a dumb way to nerf us, literally nothing we can do about it.
Completely agree,the entire point of the rune system is to balance classes that desperately needed it in a vanilla setting. If they need to resort to resistances the system has failed.
I put myself behind by leveling my warrior and hunter together. I decided yesterday that the wait on rage game and 2handed arms spec SUCK. I have mained a warrior for 20 years now and this is the first L in my book. They better give us gladiator stance ASAP
I feel like people are way too worried about efficiency/parsing and all that, it makes it so people cant even enjoy the game if they're off by a few percent of another person. Also, I played vanilla warrior and always wanted to play with 2H because Might of Menethil >>>>> Gressil imo.... AND I DID because I didn't sweat being a little bit behind fury dual wielders. However I do see an issue with too much armor if it fucks with rage generation so much because then that affects gameplay negatively. They need more fun runes too that arent just retail abilities.

I think SoD would be perfect if they just added more dungeons or raids or even new end game / leveling zones with unique items that cater to the lower tier specs and give new abilities or tuning to the lower performing ones. It would keep the spirit and core of vanilla while adding something fresh.
I really do hope that the current iteration of SoD is just sort of a test for what is to come. But, I can't help but think they're digging a hole bigger and bigger as they add these ridiculous runes that they can never balance in a million years.

staying in LFG bulletin for hours and no invites in Raid, life of the warrior. I completely agree with having knowledge of the armor before, I would have leveled my lock. so frustrating atm
I agree with you and this isn’t just hurting warriors but every single melee dps. Warriors have it worse due to rage gen.
Why not join different guilds until you find one with a raid spot, there are countless options for you to find a spot.
I feel you and agree that if the remaining raids end up treating Physical dps this way (increasing Armor to nerf) then I likely wont keep playing either. However, your post doesn't address core issues and really just sounds like complaining which goes against what I think you're trying to do. You don't discuss how CBR is DW's only viable rune option and in order to use it you literally can only use BT + WW on CD and nothing else. You don't bring up that they're literally doing the opposite of what they originally said they would do by nerfing Physical Dps instead of buffing casters. You don't bring up that a 15% flat damage increase to all melee would still only put warriors at the 6th highest dpsing class out of 9 at the 95 percentile, and 7th at the 50 percentile.
TLDR: You're in the right place, but you're just bitching instead of providing data points.

people see raid dps numbers and think thats the whole game
A majority of the player base plays the game to raid/pve, the numbers back it up.
Warrior is also not very good in anything outside of raid so them being bad in the one area they should excel in, in a vanilla esque iteration of the game for one of the most popular classes is bad design.
Warrior is horrible at leveling, horrible at pvp, and now thrown in the trash in pve. Genius move by blizzard.
Warriors will be the strongest pve damage dealer in phase 2 again once we get the gear. Warrior in phase 1 looked the same. And by level 60 warrior will be just as broken as ever.
Math has been done and the gear scaling will not help nearly as much as long as the armor is the same on bosses.
Sod is pretty much retail in the old world.
Blizzard don't care about this game and they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to balance.

IMO increasing boss armor is the best way to balance casters with melle DPS. Alternatively they could have made the bosses more vulnerable to magic. If they increase caster damage or nerf melle DMG it messes with PvP. This tries to fix the DPS gap between melee and casters without changing every classes DMG values.

I too love changes that affect the enjoyment of my fellow raider/WoW gamer. This change affects all physical dps.
Lol warriors and rogues being crybabys about not being number 1 DPS is glorious. Sod proves that people who play this class can't handle not being top of DPS charts. Go play a healer for a bit.

Vast majority prefers Fury, no shot you played with deathwish ect and prefer arms over that.
@@Bossbabyy99 Yes there is death wish but you are missing the wep damage increase in arms and bleeds, and impale. Try 2h arms but without mortal strike get 5 crit from fury and axe spec. get 6 sec fixed slam belt rune. rotate between slam and whirlwind = win
