Thank you both for this wonderful episode!!!! I am unable to attend this year so I really appreciate everyone sharing their plans and adventures at the festival!!!!! 😘😘😘😘
Oh my goodness, I would LOVE go to Rhinebeck with you guys! Your plans, all your hats, all your sweaters, all your shopping plans including Covid plans!👍😷 No tornado warnings where I live, so far, but yours kind of sounded like it was outside my house😆 Have a wonderful time!! I look forward to hearing all about it when you get a chance!
I was just about to comment that I accosted you at W&F to gush over your buffalo cardigan, Erica! Then you guys mentioned how many others did, too. 🎉 You two are going to ROCK Rhinebeck!
I always look forward to your re-cap of the trip to Rhinebeck. You make the best video of the event. When Erica showed her kerchief, I remembered I made The Knitting Badge Neckerchief. I completely forgot about it. Fun video gals.
To hold the kerchief together, you can find a smaller ring (plain and simple or decorative!) and pull the ends of the kerchief through! It’s sort of like a knitter’s bolo tie 🤗 See you guys at Rhinebeck!!
LOL, I think the emergency tornado siren went off because it was sensing a serious YARNADO in the works...! Safe travels, and see you in Rhinebeck! 🧶🧶🧶
For Erica's pressed flowers kerchief, maybe you could find a costume jewelry ring at a thrift store along the way. I've seen people put the two ends through and cinch it, girl scout style. Have fun on your trip!
Such an awesome post today!!!! Hope you two have an amazing experience the whole time! Can’t wait for your recap!!!! Also … I love my Felix cardigan and ready to do the pullover!
Its so much fun to watch you both planning together! Im meeting my BFF at Md Alpaca and Fleece Festival in Nov, snd i think we have a lot in common as far as our festival approach. Oh, and the sirens are defined regional!
Wear your 1999 sweaters at the same time! They look so cool together. Jen, you definitely need to wear Warmthness!! I love seeing all of your sweaters.
Loved seeing all your knits & plans. If you have time in your City leg, The Tatter Textile Library in Brooklyn is on my list of places to visit if I'm ever in the area.
I love watching the two of you show off your gorgeous knits. You should do a fashion montage. The two of you dressed up in outfits with all your different knits just like they do in the movies.
Oh my GOODNESS!!! What a FUN vlog!!! Love so much this extended time and getting caught up in your excitement over Rhinebeck!!! Such BEAUTIFUL knits you both have!!! The black cat sweater is AMAZING!!! I have never been to Rhinebeck but would LOVE to go some day! !!
Great episode- Red flannel with the wolves 🐺 I make a doc with pictures of the projects from Rav. Next to the picture I write weight and yardage. I agree with your other tips. Hope to see you Saturday.
Love your videos you guys! My third year too - with my 3 daughters. We talked with you guys last year - on Friday and Erica had on the Bison sweater - which I have purchased the pattern and plan it for the future sometime…. A week away ahhh! Agree with you - as long as we have coffee and knitting all is great! Love this time of year - so excited!
I’m also planning my Rhinebeck purchases. Our winters here in south Jersey don’t get too cold any more and I run warm, so I don’t need bulky sweaters. I’ve got a few sweater patterns picked out that all use either sport or DK, so I limit myself to yarn for two sweaters. I also have a huge stash of single skeins of fingering/sock yarn so I’ll try to restrain myself from buying more.
I really hope you can make room in your schedule to stop by the Pick Up Every Stitch's Road to Rhinebeck on Thursday on your drive up. A straight shot from the NYC airports Mt. Kisco is a perfect half way stop for nibblies and yarn bliss. Camellia Fiber Co is having a trunk show on Thursday from noon to 6 and Friday noon to 4. Plus it's another place to wear knits!! We have a bunch of good grocery stores too because it sound like you want to make that run before heading to your Rhinebeck weekend spot. Hope to see you there or I'm just going to fan girl over both that wolf sweater and 1999 on Saturday!
You guys are mentioning so many things I wanna comment on that I need a live chat option. 😂 Ditto on the Sawkill love. I’m wearing the black indigo in my YT pic, actually! I have a SQ of the brown I need to use, so I love hearing your options. Wanted to tell you that Casey at Port Fiber is doing a Peace Fleece knitalong (weave-along, anything) on her Ravelry group right now. I might spin some fiber for a 2 color ply, or maybe knit a few of these hats you’re showing. Also! If you’re hunting neon minis in sock yarn, come find Susie at Fiber MacGyver booth on Sat. Look for the cute Happy Camper right after the main entrance on lower road. I’ll be there when I’m not shopping my tail off.
Tell Erica, when I have a triangular kerchief that is awkward to tie, I use a CocoKnits large ring stitch marker. It seems to be just the right size to slide up the ends, and comes in multiple cute colors.
Thank you both for this wonderful episode!!!! I am unable to attend this year so I really appreciate everyone sharing their plans and adventures at the festival!!!!! 😘😘😘😘

Great episode-
Red flannel with the wolves 🐺

Hope to see you Saturday.
So many amazing hats! We Canadians call them toques, where the 'to' is pronounced like the number two.
You and Erica are great together...fun video! Enjoy your trip. 🧶

You can buy your lopi in the hardware store when in Iceland. It's everywhere!
Maybe using a slightly larger needle would have made press flower scarf a little bigger. Cute knit on you! Definitely wear it!
Tell Erica, when I have a triangular kerchief that is awkward to tie, I use a CocoKnits large ring stitch marker. It seems to be just the right size to slide up the ends, and comes in multiple cute colors.
I hope that you and Erica have a great time, hooray for knitting.
Knitter's math is when Erika say "order them online ahead of time and so u spend less money" 😂😂😂
Kansas City has an every Wednesday tornado alarm test. Thankfully my 113 year old house hasn't seen one.
i plan to drive up next year, 2025, for Rhinebeck. 9 hr drive. I can only make 1 event on Friday. would you recommend Indi Untagled or Cake Palooza?
Are you going to be on the hill Saturday and what time
@@ruthcomfort4735 I just found out the podcaster meetup on the hill is on saturday at 1:00 (I think) and I’ll be there!
@@JenGeigleyKnits hope to meet you
I have so much FOMO. Please, please, both of you wear your 1999 sweaters. I’m going to buy Atlas for my birthday/Xmas for it.
