Yokohama Rose Week [Yamashita Park & Harbor View Hill Park]

In mid-May, we went to Yokohama Yamashita Park and the rose garden in Minato-no-Mieruoka Park.
Nowhere else can you see so many roses on this scale for free.
It was renewed in 2016, and I was fascinated by the scenery of not only roses but also companion plants.
In particular, the Garden of English Roses in Minato-no-Mieruoka Park is a good reference for gardening.
I learned a lot about color combinations and companion plant types.
There was also a nostalgic English rose that fell out of the catalog and is hard to get now.
Since it is a popular tourist destination, it gets very crowded during the day, so I planned to stay overnight and have the rose garden all to myself from early morning (it seems that there are many people walking their dogs), but the heavy rain forced me to wake up slowly.
I was looking forward to seeing roses because they smell so good in the early morning.
However, due to the rain, there were fewer visitors than usual, so I was able to relax and watch.

タイミングを外して今年は諦めたのですが、中旬に行くことが出来ましたが、やはりシーズンは終わってしまってました。でも素晴らしいお庭で感心しました🙋再度また動画を見させて頂いて感激しました😃来年は是非ともトップシーズンに行きたいと思います😊
