60 books! 😮👏🏽 you’re rocking it!! I can’t wait for my hold to come in for Monica Kim’s book. So happy you decided to read more horror this year haha. It’s my fave!! Eeeee I can’t wait for So Thirsty to release. It’s also on hold at my library for when it comes out. Such Sharp Teeth was a hit for me too. Just wish it had a more thorough ending! I’m afraid that rereading the twilight series as an adult will totally ruin it for me haha. I really hope bunny is a five star for you!! I ate it up. The last two pages made me cry 😢
I love the questions you added. Imma steal some 👀 im so glad you picked up such Sharp Teeth. It reigns champion for Rachel Harrison for me. I never actually finished the twilight series when I was young. I think I read the first two?? I probably pretended I read the others to be cool 😂
I love how you've altered the questions.❤❤ ❤Jawbone is one of the best books I’ve read so far this year for me too. At the top of my TBR was Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay but I just read it, so now my next most anticipated book of this year is Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman. ❤❤❤
@@midnight-tomes I really liked Pearl I think you might like it as well, tbh the only Malerman book I dislike is Malorie, it's an absolutely unnecessary sequel to Bird box.
Okay I love that you don’t give out 5 stars very much because I am the same! The troop was so good I’m glad you loved it and I also want to read the eyes are the best part I just bought it so I want to fit it in soon! 💕💕
Bunny is one of my favorite reads so far this year and was a big surprise for me. Top of my TBR and I can only pick one? Hmm. I'll go with The Bog Wife by Kay Chronister.
Aw im so sad i filmed my mid year freakout before watching your video. I would have loved to include the questions you added. Okay i was seated and ready to hear your best books so far this year to add to my tbr but ive already read and enjoyed all the ones you mentioned. We have good taste 😉 I selfishly loveeee that you're reading more horror this year 😏 I just picked up both middle of the night and horror movie. im very hesitant about the cursed film trope too. I did not like silver nitrate which was cursed film too Omg i cant imagine listening to the animal abuse in the troop 😭 im so sorry you had that experience. I know exactly which part you're peobably talking about. I read it physically and i had to skip over the pages cause it was so upsetting to me too.
Great minds think alike 🧐 I'm hoping that because I really liked ep 13 I'll like all these move-related books but idkkk Omg yeah I def would've skipped the pages if I was reading the physical book at the time
I haven't read Malice, but I have read Shadow of the Gods. Trust me, it is not intimidating once you start reading. I think fantasy always looks scarier than it ends up being. I was so scared to read brandon sanderson also, so I picked up his standalone (tress of the emerald sea) and it was a super easy read. I need to try more from him. I was going to do this tag this week...l might have to steal your tweaked questions!
I'm so bummed that I couldn't finish reading The Troop. I have too vivid of an imagination and between the animal cruelty scenes and the descriptions with everything else, I had to dnf the book at around chapter 27. I thought about picking it back up because so many people loved the book, but I'm not sure if I can do it 😅
I love your take on the mid-year book freakout tag! It's always exciting to hear about what others are reading and their thoughts on different books.
Thank you!
Thank you too❤

Can't wait to hear what you think about The Eyes! Honestly same about Twilight but I feel like I need to know haha

Do it! Lolll my issue was hiding them from my parents because I thought the last one was sooo spicy at the time
LMAO SAME SARAH!! 🤣🤣I definitely didn't read breaking dawn but pretended I did when I was younger 💀💀

Just looked it up that sounds good! My husband really wants me to read Pearl by him too

My five star frequency has def gone down over the years! I just subscribed 😈
@@midnight-tomes me too! Can’t wait to see more from you. You are also stunning 😍😍

The more people tell me they like it the more I'm excited for it!

I also need to accept that these books take longer to read too and that's okay!

Totally get it, I felt like all but one specific scene was "justified" but regardless it's def hard to read
I’m also a Ruhn stan 😅
