I've done the thick cap method but I had it sewn down. I guess I'm just confused on how the cap stays in place since the glue isn't sticking to your hair

So If I’m going to keep the style for a while I like to sew it down also but most of the time I’m using the thick cap to make a quick weave wig as seen in this video. The cap does stay on for a week for me if you put enough glue in certain areas it will stay in place but yes it’s definitely easy to remove that’s why I like this method because I now have formed a wig and can get more than one use out of it
