Police - Crazies - and Wasps OH MY - Ground Wasp Nest Removal
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 15 окт 2024
- Removals of yellow jackets for customers are usually pretty straight forward and I never usually run into issues; however, there was this time... It took a while to even get back to the nest with the craziness I had to deal with prior to the removal. This neighbor began shouting at me the moment I entered the property demanding I leave. She began to be so belligerent that the police needed to be called. At one point, not in the video, she entered the property and disconnected the homeowners hose and walked away (???).
Now, about the Yellow Jackets:
So this was a Eastern Yellow Jacket nest that was build underground. This species was founded under an old burn pit in debris and ashes. This nest housed about 2,500 individuals! The nest was removed in its entirety and brought home and fed to my girls (Ginger, Pigeon, and Angel)
At the time of publishing this video, my sweet girl, Angel, has passed away due to illness. A very hard day today, and my heart is broken for this loss. Rest easy, Angel - cheep cheep cheep.
A couple things I want to say about this video, this is in no way meant to belittle this person who was in the video. Even though this was private property (and at times public property) she was made aware that she was being filmed. However, This was merely an occurrence I experienced during one of my removals that I wanted to share. Using the footage in this video of the neighbor who entered public/private property is in no means to denigrate, belittle, or make light of her condition (if she has one). My assessment of her "mental state" is my educated opinion as a nurse and in no way am I claiming it to be fact. I do not know this person, and I do not share this footage to reflect negatively on her as a person, her actions, or her self. I ask that people please be respectful in your comments regarding the neighbor. I do not condone nor encourage derogatory responses from any my viewers.

just A random kid thatlikememe Guys come on. It’s fine to joke but she’s obviously unwell. Likely Alzheimer’s or Dementia. It can turn people aggressive very fast because they become fearful when they truly believe in what their disease is telling them.
As a nurse working in Long Term Care, I can testify that every single thing he said about someone with dementia or mental illness is true, there is no point in arguing because they are not going ever believe you, they literally ARE NOT ABLE TO. Unfortunately he had no choice and did the right thing by calling the police and hopefully she will end up in a situation where she is safe instead of wandering around with the potential to be harmed for actions she can't control.
We were watching a Cowboys game (in the late 90's Jimmie Johnson was coach I believe) with my MIL who had dementia. Out of nowhere, she asked why Tom Landry was not wearing his hat? We just said he forgot it, or the wind blew it off. You just have to go along with their world of reality...
Very true. It's frustrating for the conversation partner, but imagine how the person with dementia feels? They believe that reality, to then, you are the one who's doing something weird/wrong. Heartbreaking disease.
I worked my nursing career in long term care also. I worked at one facility where their memory care unit had a sign above the door, "Join Their Journey", that sure is the truth!

One of those really sad videos. She should have been under supervision as she could have been hurt if you hadn’t been so careful. But 60 years after being stung by a hornet as a child I still love to see them brought to a very swift end. That’s called holding a serious grudge. Thanks.

Things like these make me angry. Not at the old lady specifically but because she should've been under supervision by a family member. You said a huge point too. Third, I absolutely crack up every time you clean out the hives in your bin before throwing them to the girls, and you ALWAYS see Ginger poking her little head into the bin because she can't wait any longer, lol. Lastly, it was sad to hear about Angel, and not see her join the girls for a treat. I'm so sorry for your loss. 💔😥
This was one of the most satisfying videos to watch on RUclips! Feeding the YJ larvae to the chickens at the end is just the cherry on top! God bless you Hornet King!
"I'm the only heir to the throne!"
Anyone else notice the poor ant just strolling by minding its own business that got sucked into the vacuum at 6:51?
rip
Acceptable Casualties.
Rip ant
I keep ants, I think that's myrmica rubra, or a Camponotus species.
he go *yeet*
The amount of wasps that came out of that hole! It felt like they just kept respawning.
damn spawn killers
And that was a lot of larvae
Hate when whales camp the spawn point
Yes she absolutely felt she was right! You are awesome the way you handled situation. You never know the person’s story or what they been through… good job brother

It’s a queen.
Love the respect given to the "crazy" lady. We don't know what the person in front of us is dealing with. If we just take a moment to think about the other person, the world can be a better place.
or we could just go back to locking the crazies up in asylums like they used to do before all the political correctness crap started.
She was clearly a crack whore...
@Epic Gamer lol no idea who chris chan is.
Smokey420Greenleaf oof
i agree, BUT, understand all of youthatthis wouldnt happen if we did in fact lock up public wards like we used to. there is nothing wrong with forcing those who need care to take it before they hurt other people. (looks at drug related crime statistics)
A woman yelling at a nice man doing his job

I was going to like your comment but saw it was at 69, so sorry
Like wouldn’t a wasps nest lower property value, if she does think it’s hers she’d be happy to have the property become more valuable for free right?
Even if it *wasn't* my house, I'd still offer this guy a beer for doing the neigborhood a service.
I come across this at times with my gas/electric employer. One comes across all sorts of people and state of minds of the moment.
My koodos to you sir in engaging such both smart and professionally.
Angel was a sweet girl and over came obstacles but this was the one she could not muster she tried for you and everyone may her beloved soul rest in peace. Cheep cheep cheep

I don't know how but I missed it; what happened to Angel? :(

@@amagos18 , thank you.
@@amagos18 , thanks for responding... I missed it as well.
Everyone thinks the star of this show is the wasp king but its really his vacuum.
Death by Fitness vacuum : its nothing much but it’s honest work
Imagine if power went out and the vacuum stopped. If there's no safety mechanism, the wasps just start coming out of the tube. Yikes
I come to watch the chickens eat the wasps.

I worked on this dudes house once, the husband called me and had already prepaid, so i went finished the work and knocked on the door to get a signature i wait a could minutes then the cops pull up askin all this stuff about why I'm there and crap, well apparently the thing i was fixing broke, so the husband called me, didn't tell the wife or landlord, so the wife hears me working in her garage, and calls the landlord to see who he sent, and the landlord didn't even know anything was broke, so he didn't know anything about me, so he called the cops to see if anyone was trying to break in, holy crap it was crazy.
When he uncovered the glob of wasps i started yelling "STICK YOUR VACUUM IN THERE!"
Woah slow down tiger
SAMEEEE
"I tried to warn her, officer, but she insisted she was queen of the wasps, walked back there, and got stung repeatedly."
Honestly this made me cry. You were so respectful in regards to the neighbour who obviously has an illness going on. Thank you for not being cruel

I quite enjoyed the scerene close up to the wasp entrance and the lady screaming in the back. Only made me think of the yellow jackets telling you off
I'd rather deal with 100 wasp nests than 1 crazy ass human being.
Hmm I would be the other way around simply because if worst comes to worst one person is easier to get rid of then 100 wasps or bees. Plus I might be allergic to wasps so ya
Iother way for me I dont know if I'm allergic never been stung
@@ARM0RP0WER Yeah exactly both you can get rid of by flamethrowers and you can feed the chickens with the rest!
but the wasp remova takes long time. 1 human? just shoot it and done. less then 1 second XD
I just found your CHANNEL today and absolutely love it and YOU for your kindness, compassion, empathy, and sympathy for the obvious victim of senile dementia! My family dealt with that with my mom's mother for 10 years!
You're one incredibile human being. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
Not just that, but also his insane bravery when it comes to nest removal.
