Adele's second album was such a massive hit because of the honest heartbreak and heartache. That's not what Adele's music is about anymore and there's an opening in the market that Grace can fill. I can actually imagine this song with full orchestration. Right now, she's my favorite.
She has such a beautiful voice but the thing that really makes her special is the raw emotion that she conveys in her songs. She may not “look like a pop star,” as she said she has been told but she is absolutely a magnificent musician and I would listen to any music she puts out. Watch out Adele, here comes Grace.

I think Grace is well on her way to a world wide level.. her songs are so emotional.I our screwed up world I think any channel we have to help us to an emotional level is a good thing. this song is my favorite of hers as it touches my loss in a 22 year marriage. roots is damn good. her voice is unlike anyone on the market today. As Simon said through the shows this year she and Rak Su have changed the face of x factor for the fact the kids were doing a majority of their own songs,( more so Grace than Rak Su) So now we will be seeing far more original music in the future. this will create a whole new basis and extend the life of this show. this impact will carry to x factor US and Australia as well. I agree with what you said but just wanted to share my thoughts and some what hopes about Grace.. I my book she was the real winner.
