    A tear almost came out running
    down my cheek of sadness but
    then came out of Happiness to
    Hear that the Mansion was saved
    and restored!
    Thank God was saved by nice people!!!

    I love this mansion. I live 5 minuets away from it so watching the family who bought it bring it back to life has been incredible. The photos on the FB page don’t do it justice

    This this tiny town is where my family on my mothers side are from my grandfather had a county store in the area my uncle worked for c&o railroad all have been gone for long time there is so many memories of my mothers side in that area

    Beautiful architecture! Love the columns, the staircase, the second-floor balcony, the paneling, the fireplaces - everything! I could so live here. I sure would love to go through it after it’s restored. Thank you for the tour!

    ❤I'm in love with this place. I always felt I belonged in a plantation home like this in the old days,imagine swooshing round in a big dress and sitting on the porch on a sunny day with those amazing views, It's stunning. Thank you for the vid🖒

      MANY historic old homes in the USA have been restored and are open to the public as museums. Probably some around where you live. Check with your local Historical Associations, OR go on-line.

      To each his I own, but the fireplaces in homes from the period are my least favorite feature. They’re usually the kind you would order from a catalogue and the style almost never really matches the home. I know a lot of people love them though.

    That was a grand house at one time. I hope they restored it to it's original state. I love the fireplace under the staircase landing. I also like the bathroom sinks.

    So glad they fixed this one up. In my neck of the woods. It's a riot to see how many people think it was built by slaves 🤣 it was not. The origional house on the property was but not this one. Awesome video!

      Brian Sterowski this is the most amazing house I have ever seen! I can't even imagine how much it cost to restore this house like this. Can we get a history of the original owners and the new owners? My ancestors lived in Virginia in the 1700s

    It makes me so sad to see old, beautiful houses in this state of disrepair. So glad it’s being restored. I’d love to do something like that myself some day. The old, abandoned pianos break my heart. Those old computer monitors were a bit shocking.

    I lived in a Plantation Home Grandma Moses house and I loved It, in the summer it was so cool inside with the French doors open watching the see through curtains blowing, I Absolutely loved it and I really do miss living there but I do go and visit the House but sadly to say it is setting there empty"!

    It's cool getting the resto it deserves as long as the new owners don't make it open concept. The way it was is the way it should be returned too especially those awesome bathrooms. The kitchen should be updated to a point but no so much that it totally throws the rest of the house off. 20's or 30's modern retro appliances would work nicely

Do These beautiful places just fall off the Radar of Realtors and ignored ?       Selma mansion rebirth is the website. They also have a FB page showing a ton of the restoration process. I come back to these videos and remember wishing it would be saved. Thankful that it was!
