Good morning Paul, I've only caught a few bobcats. I'm terribly allergic to house cats, so I haven't tried very hard for bobs. The few I've caught haven't bothered me too much though , and I did get some on my trail cameras, so I might try for them this year. Our season doesn't open until the 14th. Good luck, that sure oughta work!
Some good looking sets finally got to get a couple out myself the last six days first time I trapped in three years I only had 10 traps and 14 snares out got to real nice coyote but I had to pull get back to work. Unfortunately I don’t think I’m gonna make, the opening day of cat season here in Idaho but good luck God bless
looks good Paul hope you do well, any wolf action yet? I tried some different lures this year and the wolves were avoiding like the the plage. I went back to just urine, applyed it to where they had marked previous round an hooked 2 adult males right out of the gate. shiny side up buddy
Nice sets! All ways wondered how to catch an animal on the rocks. Could you catch a coyote with an exposed trap like you showed for cats? Also when you are talking about location of sets could you give a topographical picture example of what you are looking for funnels and draws. Thanks.
No bobcats here, I do wanna try my hand at trapping some lynx though. I've been so busy I haven't even had time to trap the marten that lives 25 feet from my porch 😂
Hound hunters probably have lots of cats in the freezer turn um in when gets colder some for wife some for friends. Carp cops no there doing it don't care why quotas are filled out so fast

I caught a bobcat in Colorado 30 plus years ago. One of my cherished memories. We used flashy ornaments to attract them to the cubby.

Looking good. Bobcat opens 12/14 in Idaho. Had cameras out and have some great pictures of cats. Hopefully I won't need snowshoes by then. Good luck !
