I stumbled upon this just now and i am really impressed, the lead is a difficult one and i really thing you nailed it. Its not easy remaking a specific synth in contrast to doing an original track where you can do mostly what you want. Also im a big fan of the vocals on this one! Awesome work :)
My ONLY and I mean ONLY criticism is the lead vocals were too tuned. you could use waves tunes or something similar to make it sound a little more natural because it messed with your timbre and your tone is a good tone man. You definitely don't need the auto tune.
i think that was his intention, since its meant to be an electronic type of remix to an already electronic type of song, but thats just a pressumption, it may or may not be right

I would call this more of a remix/edit, because it has more of a drumstep beat to it. Nonetheless, very good!
You need more vocoder on the vocal chop background (as well as a little more wet reverb). It sounds great!

Sadly the artificial sing is really bad and destroys the harmony. Especially the beginning. Also de drum is too strong imo.
