Hey Sara. Thank you for the video. I work with vino farms here at Healdsburg CA. As a supervisor I'd like to see more videos of how you manage harvest with crews.
Tara, great job, so professional, had you a camera crew and sound crew. National TV would not do it any better with all their media equipment. You got in there and got real response and real hands on, look that video is worth a million dollars. Bravo. well done , congratulations. I'm in awe. Following you since the start of your channel.Looking forward to seeing you harvest your own and then, then you can show them bankers you are a roaring success, The stress will then lift off your shoulders and maybe a big holiday to boot, Wishing you every success from An Irish admirer and fan. Brilliant show.
You have a curious mind and really enjoy the subject. Also, you are well spoken and are at ease with interviews. Glad to hear you will continue this format as opportunity allows.
Great tour. Amazing to watch. I do make wine in my kitchen (30 bottles at a time) and remember the specific gravity testing and sugar into alcohol. Helps to have minored in chemistry!! And keeping everything very, very clean or you'll have problems.
Very nice tour, I think you have a good prospective on the 🍷 making industry that most people don't know what it takes to produce a bottle of wine. Like to see more great job 👍
thanks Tara ! that was so cool ! on the outside looking in ok wine , made from grapes....ok . old movies ladies barefoot mashing grapes in a big tub. as far as the real process ,had no clue . great field trip !
Thank you for making this video. I been a vine-collector for years, and been reading and tasting vines. But to really see the hole prosess is great. Thank you. I wish you a great week. Best wishes from Jan in Norway
@@nathan2813 I am maybe not so steady in your language. I use to buy a lot of vine and drink a lot of vine, and i had 1000^s of bottles of vine. What is that called?
It seems pinot noir tends to be hand picked wherever it is grown, rather like riesling for whites. I was once in Burgundy at harvest time at a place where the cave co-operatif (winery) was rather bigger than here but nearly as modern. Many growers evidently had tiny holdings producing a few boxes. With the air of excitement generated by lots of people, the Middle Ages still survived.
Hi Tara, this was very fascinating!!! Wow, there is a lot to the whole process and a lot of facilities, investment, knowledge, etc. An exciting business but oh so challenging. Thanks for sharing and letting us go through the process with you. - Dean from Minnesota
Sorry if I am asking this question in the wrong place, this is the first video from this channel I've ever watched... But where can I find out about why they pick the grapes at night?
Very informative. That was a great tour of the process from field to the fermenting tank. I'm looking forward to see the other stages including the bottling. Its amazing to see other aspects of the agricultural industry beyond what I know in the grain farming industry. Mac
Wow! Mobile BOTTLING?? What will they think of next... mobile spay & neuter clinics?? :oD That'd be great if I could mobile lasik eye surgery and a mobile vasectomy in the parking lot during my lunch hour! :o)
I enjoy all of your videos. This was very informative and interesting. Can’t wait to see more of your field trip videos. Hopefully one is going to be at the Bernard Farm in NC this winter! 😂 Hope you and your family are having a wonderful day!
@@TaraBeaverCoronado I loved the one where the conveyor belt bringing chocolates for her and Ethel to package started running too fast so they started EATING them!! :oD
Wait Beaver is your middle name, or your maiden name?? Hoowee, she was moving fast harvesting those grapes 🍇 Why do they do it at night? To avoid the heat?
Handpicking grapes at 1:30 a.m.? That's true dedication! Love seeing the behind-the-scenes of farming and winemaking! 💪🍷
Amazing video 👍 , thank you for sharing ! Stay safe , enjoy ! Bob

Any excuse to visit Meredith!!
Beaver Vineyards my thoughts exactly Tara, I would love to go spend a day with her and Lawrence!!!
when i saw the bucket of grapes it reminded me of Lucile Ball tv show when she got in the bucket and squashed the grapes with her feet.
That was a lo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ong time ago!! ...but I remember watching it, too (as a RERUN thank dog!!) :oD
I used to love watching I Love Lucy!

Love the field trip, please continue these. Stay safe and can’t wait for your harvest!!!
👍
Thats amazing Tara , so when does your harvest start ? Good luck
Soon!!!
For someone like me who does not drink wine never have never will it's still cool to see how it all works
Yes, in my opinion using grapes to make wine is a waste of delicious grapes! :oD
@@nathan2813 that's okay because I don't eat grapes either set my wife makes up for bith she eats grapes and drinks wine

Every time the blonde says SO. Take a shot of whiskey. LOL 😂
I say UM so much.... you just don’t know because I edit them out 🤣
Fascinating, nice couple, rooting for them to do great things.
Can we get there wine here in Nw Iowa , can you find out Tara ?
If you head to their website you should be able to find out 😊 There’s a link to their shop in the description
Why are they picking at night?
Great video! It was very informative and I learned a lot. I look forward to your future videos like this,
Thank you!! I think this series will be so fun!
What do they do with the stems?
I actually asked this and didn’t get it on camera. Rookie mistake!
They get out back into the vineyard!
Wait Beaver is your middle name, or your maiden name?? Hoowee, she was moving fast harvesting those grapes 🍇 Why do they do it at night? To avoid the heat?
It’s my Maiden name. When we got married I legally made it my middle name and got rid of my middle name I was given at birth.
And yes they do it at night to avoid the fruit from fermenting in the heat.
@@TaraBeaverCoronado got rid of it ?? Wow. You could have had four names, like a countess 😂😋 What was your original middle name?
Hahaha yea that was too long and I had no real attachment to my middle name
It's ok if you invite me to pick grape next time
Why do some vineyards hand pick an others use machines is it preference
It normally depends on what wine they’re going into
Tara whatever you do----- don't drop your sunglasses into one of those vats! That could be a "pressing" situation!
First?
Still waiting for a equipment tour video
Anyone who is from travelling winemakers group.
beautyful TARA I LOVE YOU KISS KISS DA ROME ITALY
